Sadly, due to relocation, we are selling our Black Welsh Mountain ewes. They descend from 'Wenallt' blood lines (so are very true to type). They are not flighty, like other hill breeds, and yet, because they are a hill breed they know how to keep out of trouble. They are good lawn mowers. We think they are attractive, with pleasant personalities. The coloured fleece is quite desirable for parklands/small holding, plus, the wool is in demand from weavers & spinners.
