Bought at the start of summer. Used once, but my partner and I are getting a bit too old to be climbing in and out of a tent this size, so we're selling it to get something heavier:-(but roomier for old folks. Its a shame as its beautifully made, incredibly light with great features like a gutter over the doors, reflective guy ropes, titanium pegs and vents that open from inside! Only setup on campsite on a tarp, so floor still 100% watertight. Mint condition. I have included a tube of silicon sealant as recommended by Terra Nova to seal the centre seam (this makes them 100% waterproof even if the rain shield moves). Cost over £300 new, grab a bargain. Terra Nova Laser Comp 1. Very lightweight tent and in good working order. One of the end poles went missing on my last camping trip but a replacement pole is not expensive and I have allowed this in my price. A very good backpacking tent with plenty of life still left in it.

The Terra Nova Solar Competition is an ultralight one person freestanding tent (you can pick it up and move it). It weights less than 100g more than the Terra Nova Laser Competition 1 but offers significantly more head room, stability and versatility. It can be pitched 3 ways - as a double skin tent (g), as an inner tent on it's own (670g) or as a flysheet on its own - which would be big enough for two people (630g). - Fantastic low weight (g), pack size (42cm x 8cm) and strength for a solo semi-geodesic tent - ideal for adventure racers and lightweight enthusiasts. - Genuine 3 season tent (should stand up to all but the very worst weather conditions). - Relatively quick and easy to pitch - Side facing porch for great views! - Generous bathtub inner groundsheet. - Three different pitching configurations - full double skin tent (g), inner tent only (670g), fly sheet only (630g!). Tent in good condition,no tears or rips. One of the short poles was cracked but has given no problem since being repaired. There is a red mark on inner as shown on photo but is only cosmetic. Tent comes with waterproof pole cover which I have only used once.A ground sheet protector is also included. Tent is four years old but only used for less than forty days and always stored dry.
