Two lovely young female cats looking for a quiet home

This is a difficult message to write, but I think we need to find a new home for our two female cats, each approx 6 years old. They are both lovely, affectionate cats - both are small, one is black and one is tortoiseshell. We'd like to find them a home together. Both cats are quite shy and timid. They love people but prefer quieter environments and are the type of cats that like to approach you and sit on your knee, rather than have you approach them. They are shy at first, but once they settle in, really friendly and affectionate. Since we have had our son, and now we have another baby on the way, I just don't think the cats are as happy with us as they could be. They spend most of their time outside as they don't like the loud noises from the toddler, but I think they miss the affection that a quiet home of cat lovers could offer them. So I think if we could find someone who could provide that, it would be better for them. So we're looking for someone with a quiet, calm, cat-loving home who would be patient and welcoming to our cats. I don't think a home with other cats, dogs or children would be any better than our current set up. We are determined that if we do let them go, they go to a lovely household, so we would be a bit fussy, but I know they would make lovely, affectionate pets for someone who could give them a happy home. Two Lovely Cats need a new home

We have two wonderful cats but we need to find a new home for them. They are currently living in Sussex and as much as we hate to give them up we are relocating and they aren't allowed to come with us. One male (Bruce) total pansy, loves a good cuddle. The craftiest cat I've ever seen there are many stories. One female (Dori) real princess but so soft, she is spoilt by Bruce will cuddle at her convenience. They are incredibly friendly and don't bite or scratch unless they get over excited when playing. They've been around children and we've had no problems. Bruce isn't a fan of Dogs, Dori can be introduced slowly she's not such a whimp. Both are 5 years old but still run around like kittens. They do need outside space they pretty much run outside at 6am and come in and out during the day but in summer they like to be outside they are litter trained aswell if you don't have a cat flap. They are micro chipped but that was done in France so probably needs a UK update. They have both been neutered and are regularly checked by us for worms, never had them. They also have passports if I can find them. They're both European tabbies and are quite small cats. Dori has a broken tail which happened at birth which puffs up like a duster when she's excited. We got her when she was a kitten and met her mother Bruce was rescued from Gypsies when he was only a few months old and is quite street wise. They regularly play fight together and sometimes it can look like their hurting each other but they just stop and shrug it off. As you can probably tell I'm super sad to be having to give them away and I want to make sure they go to the right home. Needless to say they have to go together. It will take them a while to get used to new surroundings particularly for Bruce but with the right people they will settle in nicely. You will have so many stories from these two. Due to moving we unfortunately can't take our beautiful cats Archie and Alfie and so are having to sell them! Both cats are pedigree unfortunately we don't have the papers as we didn't get them to show them! Archie is 1 1/2 years and he's a snowshoe and Alfie is 2 1/2 years and he's a tabby oriental Havana both are indoor cats very sociable, very friendly, love cuddles and being around you, both are excellent with children and due to they are breed can be very vocal when they want something! Help! Long-term foster home needed - 2 cats

Could you offer two very sweet, characterful adult cats a loving long term home? Our situation - I relocated to Zambia about 6 weeks ago and had founded a lovely foster home where the cats seem very happy and settled. Unfortunately the lady who has them has is elderly and recently became quite ill so can no longer take care of them... I am currently in Zambia until December, but it is quite likely to be extended for another 2 years after that (work permit permitting). So I need to find them a long term home where they will be loved and looked after, and hope not to have to disrupt them again. My priority is making sure they are settled and happy. Here is some info about the cats... Matilda: very petite, pretty tabby girl. Quite self-contained but likes to curl up on a lap or the end of the bed. Loves to go outside and hunt for ‘presents’. No health issues. Charlie: tabby and white boy, a real character and also quite affectionate. Favourite things are eating and sleeping. Charlie does have diabetes which is helped with daily tablets (in his food - he doesn't notice them!) because we cannot give him insulin injections. The diabetes means that he eats and drinks a lot. At the moment he still has a good quality of life and seems quite happy in himself. I need to be honest about this as I appreciate that it’s not an easy thing for a new person to take on – however, as with his current home, I would like to remain in regular contact to see how they are both doing, and help make any decisions. I got them from a rescue home about 7 years ago when they were both full grown around 2 years old. They came as mother & son - I don’t know if this is true or not but they’ve always been together! Both of them are very social and like to be around people. They cannot be homed with dogs as a previous experiment was disastrous.
