TEISCO STARWAY MJ-2L Electric Guitar 60'S BRIAN ENO / ROXY MUSIC

Teisco Starway MJ-2L (version 1) Natural finish w. tremolo - circa. made in Japan. Rare, fabulous! As used by Brian Eno, Roxy Music. In excellent condition for it's age & stored indoors. The switches are a little scratchy at times, surface mounted pick ups working fine. It's not been used for a couple of years so I'm sure if you want to play this Starway professionally, you may want to have it setup - that's true every guitar as I'm sure you would agree? Talked to Brian Eno about his recording process a few months back at the South Bank. My sole reason for buying a Starway was because it was used on the 'Another Green World' album. I've always loved the unusual finish on this axe. I'm getting too old now and simply don't have the time to use it. He also mentioned it's use on 'Here Come The Warm Jets' & 'Taking Tiger Mountain'. Saw one of these in sunburst on Denmark Street not long ago for £895 so grab a bargain! I've never seen one like mine though, so a very unusual/unique item. Now go listen to the Stairway guitar solo on "I'll Come Running".   NICE VINTAGE 60'S TEISCO SINGLE PICKUP

Up for sale is a vintage teisco electric guitar in pretty nice playing condition. The action is nice, the neck is straight, the electronics work great and it sounds fantastic. The finish is crackling, as is common with guitars of this age. There is a piece of binding missing (pictured), it's paper thin binding so you don't feel it when you're playing. The truss rod cover is missing. I got this guitar with a bunch of other gear on trade earlier this week and as fun as it is to play, it doesn't really fill a need for me.

Bugera 12inch Guitar Speakers (Vintage Guitar Series)

These matched 12 inch 8 ohm speakers came out of a top of the range Burera valve combo. They sound great and are in as new condition. Lightly used before being swapped for lighter speakers. Parlor guitar Vintage? 12 fret (Stella Style blues guitar) with original case

Great old parlor guitar with original case. Not sure how old it is. Guitar in used condition see the photos.    inches long. There are two filled screw holes on the head of the guitar which may have held the decal plate, but it is missing, cant seem to find any thing else to identify it (the original case has 1S impressed on the side).  I am told its an all-birch body? but I don't know how to tell, the fret board is 12 frets to the body and it is 18 frets altogether -fret fingerboard, metal trapeze tailpiece copper but may have been cleaned / polished to copper?  Fantastic vintage tone from this unknown guitar, lots of stella, blues mojo. It is tuned to standard tuning not sure if it has right gauge of strings on it. Ladder-braced for that Classic Blues sound! The original tuners work fine In nice original condition Real life relic'ed condition, (and  it really is a road warrior relic!) Comes, with the original case, the case is not perfect but it only seems to be surface marks see photos. I imagine you will probably need new strings and your own personal set up. I am told harmony kay ect all built these style of guitars and it could have  been rebranded by a different manufacturer. Vintage / Old Acoustic Parlour Guitar - Sunburst - New Martin guitar strings - Can post

Vintage East German Parlour Guitar - Recently Restored What can I say about this other than "Wow" ! READ: I waffle on a bit, but I'm honest, and an experienced player, so read what I have written below, as I say it like it is, and can be trusted. This is a vintage Musima guitar from the days when East Germany were a forgotten country, behind the Berlin wall. It is probably 50 years old but I've done a great job cleaning her up, and restoring her, even if I say so myself, without losing any vintage charm. She's had a knock to the lower shoulder at some point in her life, (see pics) which you simply wouldn't see unless you wanted to stare at it, but the rest of her is very lovely indeed. Closed tuners, floating vintage bridge, and a new chrome tailpiece, together with a custom pickguard. Nice grains throughout, and a rather stunning sunburst finish. The guitar has had it's fretboard oiled, finish oiled, and tuners serviced, and the nut and bridge have been cut with luthier files to ensure no string snag. Fret edges smoothed and nut lubricated with vaseline and pencil lead. Zero fret lowered and crowned, and a brand new set of Martin custom lights added (11 gauge). The guitar has an action of just under 4mm at the 12th fret. No truss rod, so a slight gap in the middle, but not one that will stop you playing it. I set it up with a view to playing slide on it in various tunings, but as long as you can play, you'll still be able to play it in standard tuning for basic playing needs, and you're not just limited to Cowboy chords, as it does play up the neck too, but it's not going to be suitable for chord melody stuff, unless you have very strong hands. Certainly it isn't a guitar for a beginner, but somebody who is appreciative of collectable vintage guitars, and understands the value in vintage charm, over modern playability. NOTE: The case is NOT included as I'm already short of a few cases for my own guitars. Hard to put a value on a vintage guitar, so I'm going to say £299 or might consider a part ex / swap There is definitely not another like this, in this condition, for sale in the UK. Postage an option, as I've a few boxes left over, as long as any buyer pays me via Paypal using the gift / family option, so I don't pay fees, or fall foul of those who try to play the system.
