Teddy 5year old gelding backed and turned away due to lack of time brought back into work but proving very challanging.. very nappy and head strong.. ted would go far in the right hands ridden by young children back last summer handled by children with no problems. Can cow kick whilst having his back hooves picked up but he's never injured anyone doing this ted prefers to live out all year can be turned out with mares or geldings.. has been broken to harness but not used one since being with me.. home more important than price experience essential although ted has been ridden by children in the past he is defiantly not suitable as a child's pony. Lovely hh 5 year old gelding for sale broke to harness I think this pony would suit a confident knowledgeable driving home has also been backed but proving very green and nappy so definitely not a child's pony or novice ride would need a calm confident rider with experience in backing youngsters.. can live out all year as he can fizz up if stabled to long... teddys excellent to catch comes to call can be head strong at times but handled by my young children without any issues how ever ted will cow kick whilst having his back hooves cleaned but again never hurt any1.. would make a very good project to the right person very sad sale of this much loved pony

Piebald Cob Gelding 13hh in Huddersfield

Lovely coloured chunky cob gelding 13hh. Plenty of feather and one blue eye. Hacks out alone and in company. Bombproof with cars and motorbikes. Is currently on a farm and is good with tractors, farm machinery, sheep, dogs etc. Not done much schooling as just a happy hacker at the moment. Is broken to drive but I haven't tried. Good to catch, box, travel, mount etc. Barefoot. Up to date with vaccinations and passported. No vices and is too gentle to bite or kick. He's a kick along plod type although he's green due to his age. Would make a fantastic lead rein/childs pony with more experience or now for a confident teenager/lightweight adult. Not a childs pony at the moment as he's young. Would probably benefit from more hacking out in company and alone although he does like to lead. Hacked out by my mum who is 73. Will live out 24/7 or is fine in the stable. Is no problem to turn out with other horses as he's not dominant. The unflappable type. Has kids playing ball and riding toys round him and he's unphased by loud noises. Comes with 2 rugs, bridle, bit and headcollar. Sorry no saddle. I've been working on desensitising him to things like wheelie bins, washing lines, lawn mowers, mowing machines, plastic bags, quads etc so he would benefit from more schooling and just bringing on a bit. Only for sale as he's sadly too small. 5* home only please and no dealers as he's a very genuine boy who deserves a good home. No timewasters and no loans.

Murphy (Murphys Half Pint) is a 13hh piebald cob gelding. Hes 4 years old however don’t be put off by his age! He has been ridden by experienced riders to being on and off the leadrein for children who have never even sat on a horse. This pony gives you so much confidence when you’re on board, never reared or bucked. Good to hack alone or in company, when in company he will go in front or behind never nappy. Ive hacked Murphy along main roads, in open fields and around the local forests. Hes got 3 nice paces, he is more forward when out however not silly or strong. Hes got a nice little jump and Ive competed him cross country and showjumping.- I’ve never had a refusal from this pony. Murphy will turn his hoof to anything! Fully up to date with everything. Lovely TB gelding for sale, due to change in circumstances and lack of time. I got Hugo straight out of training in October, and gave him most of the winter off, bringing him back into work Feb time. He's been ridden in the school, and hacks out alone and in company. He was a flatracer but I've popped him over small cross poles with no argument. He is generally a very easy going boy. Unfortunately, I have been unwell the last 2 months so he has just been stuck out in the field and not worked. Being a TB, he can be sharp and put in a buck in canter but it's never unseated me. He did retire from racing after having bone chips removed from his knees and he has a couple of bumps on his rear fetlocks but he's never been unsound. Looking for a forever loving home for this handsome chap. His name is Pinocchio. He is 11 yrs old. 14"3hh piebald gelding. He has been a riding school horse for the past 6yrs. He has previously completed X country, dressage & jumping. He has lovely high action, nice to ride. Very good in schooling environment, will hack alone and in company.
