An extremely important factor is that educational videos combine a visual/pictorial channel and an auditory/verbal processing channel. The Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning suggests that when using both channels the acquisition and processing of information is maximised. This because the use of the two channels can facilitate the integration of new information into existing cognitive structures, enhancing learning. We have developed an effective method of creating educational videos that are clear and engaging for the learners. We simplify concepts, and include clear explanations both verbal and on-screen, combined with specifically designed animations and graphics in order to help students learn, revise and prepare for exams. We I have utilised some of our teaching videos to conduct a study involving over people with different abilities, age and gender. The participants watched the videos, and their feedback was positive. They stated that the videos helped them to achieve their academic goals. Expert teacher who watched some of our educational videos also provide positive feedback. Moreover, we sent some our videos for review to one of the most important British institutions, and the feedback of the reviewers was also positive, further supporting the effectiveness of our videos.
