She discovered her love for art when she was very young, and she began to work in important galleries. There, curious and proactive, she studied, researched and developed a deep interest for contemporary art. She’s always keeping an eye open on the world, on its beauty but also on its malaise, until art stops being a lens on it and it becomes a dialogue tool. She gathers ideas and materials, assembles, reuses, experiments décollage, works with plaster, resin, plexiglass, and begins to create works related to social issues and solidarity campaigns. She reported the disfigurements of man on nature, the environmental disasters, first of all the disaster ‘par excellence’: the land of fires in Campania. Each of her works contains a story. It tells about the barbarism of war, it deals with differences in social conditions, with the violence against women. Inspired by the Mexican artist Elina Chauvet (the first who spoke about the phenomenon of femicide in her installations), Tara began her artistic project of report and awareness against gender violence, for which in she also co-created the ‘Fondazione scarpe rosse’, an association composed of women, that works for women. With this project she supported and supports several anti-violence centres like ‘Differenza donna’ and ‘Solidea’ in Rome, the project ‘Vieni via con me’ made by the association TAMPEP, and the project ‘Io ringhio’ of the A.P.R. Onlus, Turin, the ‘Alpha’ centre of Chieti. Tara brings with her a wealth of important experiences, a rare sensitivity, that she constantly nourishes by researching, studying, attending courses - such as that of family advisor.Some of her works were published in the book by Cristina Cerrato and Pino Nazio ‘All’ombra di Caino. Social Representations: Explorations in Social Psychology

Since then the theory has become one of the predominant approaches in social psychology, not only in continental Europe, but increasingly in the Anglo-Saxon world as well. While Moscovici's work has spread broadly across the discipline, notably through his contributions to the study of minority influences and of the psychology of crowds, the study of social representations has continued to provide the central focus for one of the most distinctive and original voices in social psychology today. This volume brings together some of Moscovici's classic statements of the theory of social representations, as well as elaborations of the distinctive features of this perspective in social psychology. In addition the book includes some recent essays in which he re-examines the intellectual history of social representations, exploring the diverse ways in which this theory has responded to a tradition of thought in the social sciences which encompasses not only the contributions of Durkheim and Piaget, but also those of Levy-Bruhl and Vygotsky. The final chapter of the book consists of a long interview with Ivana Markova, in which Moscovici not only reviews his own intellectual itinerary but also gives his views on some of the key questions facing social psychology today. The publication of this volume provides an essential source for the study of social representations and for an assessment of the work of a social psychologist who has consistently sought to re-establish the discipline as a vital element of the social sciences.
