Victorian parlour scene tapestry wall hanging. Believed to be Belgian. Large 56"x 20". Original dark wood frame and hanging chains. Glass fronted. Tapestry is in very good condition with exception of backing paper which is original but torn in places as per photograph. Solid wood backing to tapestry can be seen due to torn backing. Very interesting and atractive piece but no longer suits our decor. Has been in family for almost three generations. Cash and collection only please due to size,weight and fragility of the tapestry. Vintage Italian Silk Velvet Tapestry Coverlet/Wall Hanging/Rug

This is a heavy silk velvet bed cover with chennile fringe that could also be used as a wall hanging or even A rug. The background is predominately pink but there are multi colours making it compatible with most decors. The patter is very much like an Aubusson pattern Chinese carpet that I use to have and the photos don't do it justice because of the shadows in my bedroom. It was photographed on a super kingsized bed and the measurements are a generous 74" x 92" and weighs 3.5 kilos. The condition is pristine and has been stored and unused.
