Talented All-Rounder in Cardiff

Darcy is 14.1hh, 8 year old quality all-rounder who we have owned for 3 years. She has lovely breeding being half Connemara and quarter hanoverian/ thoroughbred.This is a very sad sale for my daughter who loves her pony. Darcy has attended many pony club rallies, pony club camp and regularly competed in unaffiliated show jumping and dressage (usually receiving scores over 70). She is a naturally clever and very athletic pony with a scopy jump, she has potential to go further. She has been in the pony club area dressage team. We compete Darcy locally both in showjumping and dressage and she usally comes home with a rosette. My daughter and Darcy have had regular lessons with good instructors with the result that she has progressed significantly in the time that we have owned her. Darcy is very well schooled, she has a good understanding of the basics of lateral work and learns quickly. She has lovely conformation and paces. Darcy is forward thinking and quite sensitive therefore, she would not be suitable as a first pony. She hacks out alone or in company, fine on roads and with most farm yard machinery, she has no vices. She is good with the vet and up to date with her vaccinations etc. For sale as my daughter is moving up to horses. It's with a very heavy heart that I am writing this advert. However personal circumstances are forcing sale of this much loved mare. Lldico or Willow as known to her friends is a 16.3hh 10yo Thoroughbred mare. She is extremely sweet and honest and enjoys her work. Has three nice paces and a very scopey jump. She is eligible for ROR classes, however I feel she would excel in any sphere. Has been ridden by several different people and is proving a nice forward going but safe ride. Stunning 14.2 welch sec d all rounder eventer in Northampton

Meg is a stunning pony full up 14.2 and a mothers dream. This has been such a tough decision for us but my daughter has taken a different direction and wants to learn to jump, she can do small jumps on Meg but needs a confident rider because she has such a big jump on her. Great to do in every way, hacks in company, front or back or alone, daughter now 11 and gallops her around the field. Beautiful schooling, dressage, showing in hand or ridden. Took her xc and loved it, friend jumped her 1m, loved the water etc Took her to Onley show and two beautiful clear rounds and came 1st and 2nd. Previous owners who had her for 7 years competed in working hunters and took her as far as they could but out grown and moved onto horses. Great with ferrier, clipping, will stand and be groomed all day, bathed etc. Never been lame or any illness. Teeth done may so ok for another 12 months. I cannot say enough about this gorgeous girl who has taught my daughter so much. Please no time wasters as this is so hard for us. 5 star home a must. Not spooky at all, not Marish and use to farm machinery, dogs, heavy traffic. In her own paddock, out now but in the winter she is stabled at night, has been in field with others at previous yard. Easy to catch, she neighs and trots over when sees us. Got loads of photos and videos so please just ask. Mother daughter share, my friends mum rode her whilst away. Prince is a 16.1 Irish 10 year old gelding who I have owned for 3 years. He came to me completely green but we have worked hard together to bring him on to be the superb horse he now is. My main interest is show jumping and last year he got his 4 British Novice double clears. He has also won or has been placed in several unaffiliated events. He also loves cross country. I have competed unaffiliated up to 1m, and cross country schooled round 1.20. He came 1st and 2nd in the two unaffiliated cross country events I took part in last year. He also loves sponsored rides and we have done RAF Halton and others and he jumped the plane with ease! His flatwork is good and at his first ever dressage event he came 1st with 76%. He is very willing to learn and is a very affectionate horse both in and out of the stable. He is good with the farrier, vet and dentist etc. Good to clip, good to load. Prefers hacking in company, but will hack alone with a confident rider. Hello thanks for reading my add. I am looking for a new competition home. I am 7yrs old but still a little green, I school nicely and have 3 correct paces whilst working on a contact. I LOVE jumping and proving to be very bold and brave, have my first few competitions coming up this month so very excited. I have a very tidy technique when jumping but now ready to further my experience. I have good bone and am a medium - heavy weight horse so a good weight carrier. I come with my own wardrobe, snaffle bridle and saddle that has been professionally fitted to me. Seriously heartbreaking sale of our beautiful pony Meg who only deserves a 5 star home. Unfortunately and ONLY reason for sale my daughter has taken a different direction and we feel that Meg will be wasted. She has taught my daughter so much and a mothers dream. Took her to Onley show Sunday and a first and second, two beautiful double clear rounds and qualified. Stunning to show, in hand or ridden, dressage with beautiful outline. Loves to hack out, alone, in front or behind, nothing phases her and my daughter who is now 11 gallops her around open fields, she can turn her around gallop back towards home, turn and go back again, so safe and a mothers dream pony. She is brilliant with Ferrier, clipping, stand all day to be groomed, bathed. Never had any illness or lame. Teeth only done may , so 12 months before next check and no issues at all. Loves her cuddles and carrots and neighs when she sees us and trots over to be fetched in so perfect to catch, currently on her own in paddock but we bought her when at a very busy yard, out with mares, fine with farm machinery, dogs etc You can leave Meg for days, two weeks when we went on holiday and exactly the same when ridden. I honestly cannot say enough about our beautiful girl. Please no time wasters as this is really hard for us. Ideal confident builder, was daughters 1st pony or needs a confident rider if want to compete but she really could take you all the way. Beautiful 16hh TB mare rising 7 years. Home-bred. Chestnut with fantastic temperament. Professionally schooled. She moves beautifully and has won and been placed unaffiliated dressage. Jumps coloured fences well and has been x-country schooled. Good to box, shoe and in traffic. Hacks out alone. This lovely mare is only for sale as no rider and I cannot afford to keep her at schooling livery any longer. She is being completely wasted and is back home with me.
