Hi all, I bought this recently for my wife to replace her ageing 12 string, it was meant to be a nice surprise for her but she had already decided that she wanted a smaller bodied one as "I'm not getting any younger" So she now has a new smaller Taylor 12 string. ^_^ So up for sale is this beautiful Takamine EG 523 full Jumbo, it has a big loud and proud sound, has no fretwear at all despite being around 10 years old.Previous owner never used it apart from being on display. Bought this beautful cherished guitar in . It was lightly used at home for approx 18 months. In mid I suffered a stroke during brain tumour surgery, after which time I became unable to finger the chords. It has been stored in its hard case, untouched since then. No point in keeping it, sadly I can never play it again. It is 100% totally mint condition, would need a 9v battery for the pre-amp. Solid Spruce top. Here is a lovely Takamine EG523SC electro-acoustic guitar. Featuring a jumbo cutaway body style, and Takamine's high quality pickup and versatile TK-40 pre amp it sounds awesome unplugged and amplified. It features solid spruce top and solid flamed maple back and sides. Visually, these guitars are a cut above - the solid spruce top is a high grade cut of wood, and the bookmatched flamed maple back and sides are stunning - I don't think the pictures really do it justice. Add to that the abalone fret inlays and rosette and you have a guitar that really stands out from the crowd. This example is in generally good condition Included is a good quality padded "Rocksack" gig bag. This protects and transports the guitar well, but did have a splat of paint spilled on it as you can see in the pictures!

One of Takamine’s high-end guitars and quite rare. It was made in Japan in very limited numbers in . Solid spruce top with flame maple sides and back, gold coloured hardware and abalone inlays. Fully acoustic (no pickup) but it is wonderfully loud when required. It has a fairly narrow neck and a low action, making it an easy guitar to play.
