12ft Portabote and as new Yamaha 5hp Short shaft outboard

For sale is my Portabote Genesis and almost brand new 5hp Yamaha Outboard. The boat is 12 ft in length and 5 ft wide, easily seats 3 and folds to a mere 4 inches thick for transport. She will float in 3 inches of water and is the ideal platform for fishing on inland and sheltered sea lochs. Her unique design and flexible hull make her extremely stable and durable. She's not cosmetically perfect and has a few age related scars from being dragged down the beach. For transport the seats and transom fit in the boot of the car and the hull goes on the roof. Assembly takes between 5 and 10 minutes and then she's ready She has vertical rod holders on the transom and rod holders fitted centrally on each side. She also has a pair of oars. I bought the engine brand new last year and it has had approximately 2 hours use from new. It comes with a 12 litre external fuel tank to give you longer on the water. 13 Foot Boat + Almost new 4 stroke Yamaha 5hp Long Shaft

13 Foot open fishing boat in good condition. The boat comes on a galvanized Hallmark trailer and with an almost new 5hp 4 stroke Yamaha outboard. I bought the outboard last year at a cost of around £950 and it has only run around 20 hours max. To complete the package there is a pile of kit including, but not limited to, an anchor and chain, some lengths of rope, a trailer hitch lock, a couple of manual pull life jackets, a spare wheel for the trailer and I think there is even a can of petrol. If you buy this package you could be on the water within an hour. Its ALL there. 2 reasons I am selling:- My back is not good so I no longer have the sea legs and I am moving house in a few weeks and won't necessarily have the storage space at the new place. Mariner 5hp 2 stroke short shaft outboard engine. Practically new, it still has the original paper barcode sticker! Forward, natural and reverse gears. Very lightweight at 20kg. Shallow water multi level tilt drive. Large 2 liter Internal fuel tank and it also has the external fuel tank connection for use with an external fuel tank. It was fully serviced last month (invoice is included) There is absolutely nothing missing nor broken. I doubt this engine was used more than once. Honda outboard engine7-5hp Standard shaft

This is an early Honda which used to have points fitted but now I have upgraded it to a complete CD ignition system it starts easily and runs smoothly it has had a comprehensive service which included the engine oil changed + carburretor stripped and cleaned out with an airline also gearbox oil changed(no water ingress = milky coloured oil) and also a new water pump impeller fitted and so this will ensure trouble free running for the foreseeable future there is a small piece of the "cavitation late " which has broken away but this does not affect the performance, I do have available an "add a rudder" which can easily be bolted on which not only makes up for the broken piece that's missing but it is a significant help especially when slow running and or manouvering such as on a canal boat or slow running fishing boat or day boat it would take aprox 15 minutes to fir this, it is set up for remotes because there is no " twist grip throttle" or tiller and I have the associated plate for the front of the engine on which to mount the steering and control cables, any trial or test run in my wheelie bin is available riot to purchase, Cash on collection is very much preferred from either Warrington, Cheshire, WA59SL, near to Ikea and ToysRUS and Marks n Spencers, just off the M62 at junction 8/9, or from Lymm Village, Cheshire, WA139PR, please check with me first before travelling, I may considera bank transfer and I could then hand it to a courier providing that you organise it, Free delivery upto 10 miles and further by discussion Also I may consider a cheap part exchange of any horse power,eg non runner etc, so please ask at almost anytime x 7 days these engines are especially suited to Dawncrafts,, although there are a lot of vessels out there with a long shaft fitted and their owners do not know any different ?/ the result will be encountering difficulties when in shallow waters !! such as coming into their berth at a marina or mooring which is muddy and shallow and are also more likely to pick up rubbish around the propeller + breaking shear pins more frequently,,, the next time that you see a Dawncraft out of the water at a boat yard,,, take a look at the shape of the hull at the back and the "bilge keels" you can then see what I mean and also salute the designers of this very popular craft, lastly to add there are lots of Honda owners who will say that a 7-5 hp is as good as any 10 horse power 2 stroke=no oiling up problems and no having to mix the fuel and oil plus great economy 3 to 4 hours to a gallon possibly a bit more 5 hrs ?? and quiet and smooth in operation,, What more can I say?? if this engine is of interest to you then perhaps call me or message me this weekend because from Monday I will be listing it onto e bay Read More
