We are looking for a new home for him as we are expecting a baby and are nervous about having both to care for. Half British Shorthaired Male Cat Needs Rehoming Free To A Good & Loving Home

Hello, It is with great sadness that we are having to look for a new home for our cat. His name is Tiggi, he is 9 years old and extremely affectionate cat he is. He was born in London and very recently we have had to moved to Somerset and aren't able to keep him. He has one of the nicest personality and you can find for a cat. He has all the characteristics and temperament of a British Shorthaired. He loves cuddles and very much a lap cat. He is an indoor cat and does not like to go outside. He does get scared quite easily sometimes (loud noises) He is intact (has not been neuteured) He has not had any issues with spraying before unless there is another male or female cat around, then he will have to mark his territory. We are looking for someone who will be able to be home with him a lot. Certainly someone that will give him the cuddles and attention that he needs. Ideally you will not have any other cats and definitely no dogs as that we surely stress him out (being in a new home with a dog) If possible we would like him to go to someone who will leave him intact, of course we do understand that once he rehomed that choice is no longer ours. 2 x Black and White cats aged 4 & 5. Must go together as reliant on eachother. Chip & Tobias are 2 fantastic INDOOR cats with fantastic personalities. Tobias is very affectionate and enjoys cuddles and being cradled like a baby. Chip is more wary and enjoys his space but he'll certainly let you know when he wants love and gives is back in bundles. They enjoy eachother and are very close so can not be separated. Due to this please only enquiry if you do not intend to separate. They are House trained and have never scratched at furniture. I am saddened to be moving my babies on but due to recent changes in circumstances I can not give them the attention they deserve. Ideally interested parties would be homes where the occupiers are more mature or have children that are grown. Chip and Tobias wouldn't suit a home with young children as they don't like the man handled with excitement or speed. Peace and serenity is required. Both Chip and Tobias are chipped and neutered. Tobias has a sensitive stomach and can only be allowed to eat dry food specifically designed for sensitive stomachs. I feed him AVA Sensitive Stomach from Pets at Home. Occasionally he can take some tuna but the dry food really needs to be adhered to for his health and your comfort. It is worth noting that by law all domesticated animals must be chipped with up to date information and so the chips will, as required by law, need to be updated and I believe this is approximately £16.
