Adorable dwarf hamster seeks loving home

I have a ridiculously adorable dwarf hamster looking for a loving home. He's around 4/5 months old. I've taken in quite a few animals who've been needing homes and as much as I would really love to I sadly can't keep them all for myself! He's quite nervous of hands in the temporary cage I set up for him. He will follow you around and sniff you. Never bites, but will get scared if you try to touch him. However out of his cage he is more than happy to get stroked and handled. He loves playing and exploring and he can go like a wee bomb:) I'd love to be able to keep him but I have too many animals of my own to look after. If I kept every animal I rescued I'd end up with zero space to move pretty soon, haha! All of my own babies get completely spoiled and so has this little guy while he's been here. I won't be giving him to just anybody. I also won't be rehoming him unless I feel 100% confident he's going to the best home possible, where he will be loved and cared for the way he deserves. He'll be coming with all his things (wheels, house etc) but no cage. If you could let me know a little bit about yourself when you message, that would be great. What kind of experience you have with animals, what kind of setup you can provide... Things like that:) I know this advert is way more in-depth than most, but I care so much about all the animals I look after and I need to make sure he's going to a like-minded person. I'd feel more comfortable if he went to someone who's had experience with hamsters. Also, I won't be rehoming him to anyone with young children. Syrian hamster FREE TO GOOD HOME

Selling due to me expecting a baby in December, he is free to a good home, he was bought in February this year so I would say he’s around 7/8 months old, hamsters usually live around 2-3 years. He can’t be kept with other hamsters as they will fight. He sleeps all day and is awake at night, he can be quite noisy at night time. if you have children should preferably be older children who won’t mither him through the day and also a home with no other pets and he is to go to someone who has the time for him to get him out at night time (8oclock ish) and let him run around in his exercise ball etc... his cage will need a proper clean around once a week, and he poos ALOT so his poo/wee will need cleaning out daily. Water will need changing every few days. He will need feeding daily (every night) a small handful of food. He needs to be kept at room temperature anything to cold or hot will cause illness. He has bitten before but only when we first got him, he’s used to me and my family now so he will happily climb all over you and even let you sit and stroke him without biting, so once he’s used to you he will be fine. He comes with a three tier hamster cage and all accessories inside e.g. water bottle, two wheels etc... he also comes with nearly a full bag of sawdust, around 5/6 bags full of food which will probably last a year or longer, he will come with an exercise ball and some treats. And also an animal safe antibacterial spray for cleaning his cage out. Will be sad to get rid of him because he’s so funny and cuddly but with me having a baby i won’t have the time or space to keep him and it’s not hygienic being around a newborn baby. Read more
