Originally bought from a professional bass player who had upgraded, I played this in my band and on 2 tours and now no space for it. Original RRP in mid 90s would have been £ for both items. Although a little known brand, among professional bass players SWR is known for being reliable and great sounding, with awesome features. Included is a 2 x 10" original SWR cab. Ideal for someone looking to play either with headphones at home, or quietly at home or at a gig without needing to break your back carrying too much. Options are there to plug in to bigger PA speakers. Few scuff marks, paint chips and some rusting on one of the handles but in full working order. I got this amp as a PX for a MarkBass combo and I'm tempted to keep it, it's so good. But space considerations (and 'er indoors giving me grief) means I have to sell it. It's a hybrid amp - valve input stage and powerful solid state output, conservatively rated at 350 Watts. The speakers are brand new and sound absolutely EPIC! The set up consists of an Ampeg V4BH all valve bass amp head, an Ampeg 2x10 Classic cab and an Ampeg 1x15 Classic cab. All of which were made in the USA before Ampeg shipped production to the Far East. The amp head has a full flight case and the cabs have Roqsolid covers. The stitching on the 2x10 is coming undone but it still protects the cab. Both cabs have Ernie Ball removable castors on them. One of the castors on the 2x10 is slightly loose. The sound of this rig is typical Ampeg - big, loud and warm. This has been my main bass rig for around 3 years, but following the use of a friend's Terror bass I have been drawn into the world of Orange bass amps and I think I'm there to stay now (for now!).
