Snaffle Mouthed 16h Light Bay TB Gelding (13 yrs.). Mac is the easiest, quietest and sweetest little horse on the yard who jumps for fun, foot perfect over the biggest of fences and equally works nicely on the flat. He hacks out alone or in company, will ride and lead and leads a lead rein pony and little rider on the road, down tracks and across fields and is impeccably behaved. Mac is good to load (lorry/trailer), travel, shoe, clip, bath and will stand on the yard untied and not move until told. Mac is naturally forward going so requires a competent and confident jockey who will give him encouragement when he’s a little unsure with things he’s not seen or done before. He is regularly ridden by a 14-year-old PC girl who he works nicely for in the school on the flat, over fences, grid work, clear round SJ and has taken him schooling over XC fences at UK chasers. She even called upon him at last minute to stand in for his stable mate at Pony Camp which he embraced. Mac enjoys lessons and working in and around other horses in the school maintaining focus. He is part of a mixed herd when out but does enjoy his own company and is always the first to want to come in. windsor 8 year old 15.2 bay gelding TB a sweet kind gent in

This is such a sad sale of my daughters horse and she is heart broken to see him go, but she must put her A levels first and she just doesn't have the time for him at the moment he's just sat in the field getting fat. We first brought windsor for my son two years ago and he has taken him out on many group rides and some hunting, where he was very well behaved in just a snaffle. Before we had him he had hunted for two seasons with the TSH but sadly he just was not enough of a challenge for our Son so we passed him on to our daughter who at the time had just got her confidence back ridding a steady cob. Windsor was kind enough to put up with nerves and has taken her from strength to strength, they have both learnt to do some small jumps and a bit of school work although they are both green in this area, he takes everything in his stride. I would say that windsor is a mother daughter share/or a lovely ladies hunter he has excellent stable manners a dream to clip/box/wash/lead/catch he will always come to you to see if you have any goodies in the field. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. Beautiful boy, sadly for sale through no fault of his own (bought for non-horsey husband who has since lost interest). Fabulous show jumping bloodlines including Ladykiller, BSJA points and a lovely scopey jump. Has hunted and would make a brilliant gentlemans hunter for the winter, showjumper in the spring/summer. Easy to do, good manners on the ground, stands like a rock to be mounted and not strong or silly in the school. Prefers to hack in company although I have hacked him successfully around our village by himself on many occasions, will spook at silly things (leg yields around drain covers) fine with cars and traffic passing him. Has been beautifully schooled at one time and has three floaty paces and would ride a fabulous dressage test. I would love to keep him but at only 5 feet tall I just can't get enough leg around him to keep him together. At 34 years old my legs have definitely stopped growing too! I would prefer him to go to an experienced rider as he would be wasted otherwise, plus he does take his confidence from his rider which is why the husband had problems and lost interest.
