Peavey Valveking VK100 head and 4x12 cab excellent condition all new valves

I am selling my Valveking VK100 head and 4x12 cab to fund my next valve amp build. The Peavey is in excellent condition and i have just serviced the amp and replaced all valves with new. This Valveking is modified for variable bias on the 4 6L6 power valves with ports to read the plate current on each valve in mV. In V1 there is a JJ 12ax7, in V2 there is a JJ Gold 12ax7 to warm up the feel and gain, in the phase inverter V3 there is a Sovtek long spiral filament 12ax7. All preamp valves are balanced to avoid cross over distortion and unwanted harshness. The power valves are a matched set of Ruby 6L6's and not the JJ's shown in the picture. I found the JJ's too cold and open in the Valveking so opted for the ruby's for a rounder sound. The bias is set at about 65% which gives a slightly warmer sound to the amp and a great feel when turned up. There is a footswitch included to switch between clean and gain channels. I am selling to fund my next valve amp build, but I may be interested in a part exchange with a Blackstar HT1R. All in all an amazing sounding amp, will cover all gengres and is 100W valve amp !!!!! Great cosmetic condition, home use only, with original footswitch. 2 Channel, with selectable gain/volume boost on the drive channel. Powerful Active EQ on the drive channel and passive on the clean channel. Resonance switch on the back panel to really add the low end you'd expect to hear from a much bigger cab. FX loop, low and high gain inputs and real spring reverb. 45w from two 6l6 valves, peavey Blue Marvel speaker. Could probably do with re-valve, these are the original valves and they're a bit noisy on warm up, they're ok at temperature but its usually a sign that they've seen better days. A really great amp with very useful flexibility, as the name suggests; and the reviews concur. Great tones, from American Fender-ish, to Vox & Marshall. Actually, I prefer the Vox setting to an actual Vox... to me it seems warmer and more 'pretty'. Selling because I'm upgrading to s vintage Fender. Tho I will miss this amp.

Hello all Sadly Having to scale back due to space issues and am selling in these amps. Collection from New Malden (not too far from Wimbledon). Orange Dual Terror 30w head (with gig bag and footswitch) - £380 Great condition. Both channels work a charm and has that typical orange distortion. Switches down from 30 to 15 to 7 w (almost bedroom levels). As it's 30 w it cleans up nicely too. Comes with footswitch (couple of marks on it), powercable and gig bag with upgraded strap. Peavey Valveking 20 minihead (with case and footswitch)- £280 Like new and never been out of the flat. Switches down from 20 to 5 to 1 w for both gig and bedroom volumes. Has a great feature that tells you if the valves are working properly or not and has a vari class toggle to get even more tones. The amp also has an FX loop too. Comes with an orange dual terror gig bag that it fits snuggly into and a non peavey footswitch and original box. Jet City Amplification 12S+ upgraded speaker - £70 A Light cab that also has an extra section to turn the cab in to a closed back. I upgraded the speaker to an Eminence Legend 8ohm 75W speaker. Much better than the original and still not yet worn in as I've not gotten round to playing it much. Can supply with original speaker instead if preferred. Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister 18 head + matching 1x12 cab w/celestion v30 speaker

Bought on from GAK. Perfect working order, no issues whatsoever. Amazing sounding amp but unfortunately life circumstances have changed and have no time for bands anymore etc. Comes with the footswitch too that i bought as an extra and also the head has a padded case and the cab has a hot rox leather cover. A few light surface scratches as shown in the pictures but nothing obvious, mainly on back of the bottom of the cab. £300 for the head and cab together when it all cost me around £700 only 4-5 months ago.
