We are selling our 2 stroke, tiller controlled, electric start, long shaft Suzuki 8hp petrol outboard with 12ltr fuel tank. We have owned it for 3 years and has powered our 16ft Orkney Longliner without any trouble at all. Was used on five fishing trips in . On four trips in and only one trip this year, back in May. Serviced every year. Last serviced by Findhorn Marina in April . Immaculate and very reliable outboard. Just a couple of small cosmetic scuffs to the cover, as seen on pics. We purchased it from a close friend and boat builder in Portknockie who bought it new in the late 90's and kept it as an auxiliary engine for his yacht. It was switched on a couple of times a year to tick over for a while and that's it! Literally, barely run in when we purchased it and still runs like new today. This outboard is in an exceptional condition mechanically and very good condition cosmetically. It has had minimal use on fresh water only (Oulton Broad) and has only been used as a reserve engine. It has always been maintained but for the last two years was drained down and laid up. I sold the boat for which it was the reserve last weekend . On doing so I recommissioned this outboard and, as expected it ran easily and without problem.
