Derbyshire Yolk, through popular request, are now offering the service to reserve chicks or ducklings, till a specific time or date, due to work or other commitments. Perhaps the chick or duckling still requires heat and you do not have the equipment or experience and would like us to hold him/her for you until you are comfortable. Various different breeds of chickens are available; Rhode Island Reds recent hatch Light Sussex recent hatch Phoenix Bantam - not many left Welsummer - sold out various ages and unrelated Chicks from £5.00 Various different breeds of ducks available: Aylesbury sold out Runner Drakes only drakes left, various colours Muscovy ducklings sold out Black cayuga only a few drakes left Ducks and drakes from £5.00 Various different breeds of geese available soon Embden Chinese Toulouse Goslings from £5.00 We have a variety of accessories, including cleaning, feeding accessories, coops and medications I am not happy to sell individual ducklings or chicks as they should not be raised alone. Ideally chickens should be in a small group of 5 and ducklings and geese in trios. All chicks and ducklings are raised in a small rabbit cage initially in the house until they are old enough and off heat to run around the barn. Once large enough they are introduced to the outside to forage and obtain fresh air and sun.
