Brown show saddle made by Ray Symonds of Symonds Saddlery. 17" tree on a 17.5" Wide fit suede seat and knee rolls. Only 18 months old. Very comfortable saddle. Template from saddle maker included in photos. Note from Ray Symonds, saddle maker: the wood on this tree is set to 13" from point to point, and an 8.25" drop from the pommel to the points either side. 17.5 inch Extra, Extra Wide Native/Cob flat tree VSD/GP saddle (Black) Top quality English leather saddle custom made by The Custom Made Saddle company (part of Heritage Saddlers) for a flat withered, square shouldered, flat backed cob but would also suit Highland, Fell, Haflinger or other similar shape native breeds. Must be a table top/flat withered type horse though where this saddle has a virtually flat pommel. A highly sought after style/fitting rarely available second hand. This saddle has an extra wide low, almost flat, open head pommel to prevent pinching at the withers/shoulders and extra wide gullet for stability. Also cleverly designed with a straight cut under flap to keep the saddle back from the horses shoulders to allow freedom of movement from the shoulder, but a GP top flap with comfortable supportive gel infused padded kneerolls for rider comfort.
