Safe family pony for loving home

Looking for: pony around 14hh-14.3hh, would prefer nothing too chunky. Age between 5-16 (possibly younger if very sensible for age). Mare or gelding, any colour. To be loved as a family pony so prefer something generally easy to do, who likes to be groomed and loved on. Would be ridden by 7 year old (on lead reign) and 9 year old novices so must be safe and sensible. Here's the tricky part: will also be ridden by a small adult, very experienced rider, wanting to hack and do low level dressage. Pony does not need to come ready made (although must have basics in place), as rider capable of schooling, but it's hard to find a pony who will step up and be responsive to an experienced rider whilst also being safe for novices! 12hh super safe pony

This is one of the hardest for sale post I have had to write but the fabulous Toby has spent the last 3 1/2 years with us and it is now time to move on to his new home as is far too good to sit in the field ??as Kieran has outgrown him. Toby is roughly 12hh 16 year old please do not be put off by his age as in all the time we have owned him he has never been sick or lame and hunts every week and is always one of the last coming back in the dark. I really can't praise this pony enough as he keeps up all day and believe me he has a hard day he is fab to shoe, catch, clip, and load. Milo is a lovely yr old fell gelding. He is a fab little pony with a cracking jump! He was in the same home fore over 3years before I got him and had been used to teach beginners and taking kids off the lead rein as he knows his job. He is good to hack and is perfect in traffic. For the first week he needs treats to be caught but I think this is just a way to get treats! Lol. He loves being fussed and pampered by the children. He can be a little bit funny with his feet, but I think he has just been allowed to get away with it in the past, so we are working on this! He would make an amazing pony club pony or just a nice pony for the kids to enjoy and hack about on. He isn't strong or silly. Previous owners had him in a gag, but this is certainly not needed, so will be going in a snaffle. Doesn't bite, kick, buck, bolt or rear. He is a nice safe pony and a bit of a kick along. Kai is a 14h Welsh x. He's a brilliant pony for hacking as nothing bothers him and he will go at whatever pace you want. He's given my daughter loads of confidence. He's very good to handle. My 13 yr old daughter can do everything with him. We bought him for her to do all pony club activities but unfortunately he had a tendon injury and therefore can no longer jump and compete at the level we need. He's the sort of pony that can be left for weeks at a time and then you can just get on and hack out. He does need to have his grazing managed and so would need to be able to be stabled. Read More

One of them ponies you can literally do anything with, this mare is one of the safest ponies ever to hack alone or incompany. And NO TRAFFIC bothers her, you can literally hack this mare up the hard shoulder of the motor way and she wouldn't be bothered at all, rides down dual carriage ways with us with lorries flying past her, and she doesn't put a foot wrong, a bomb could go off and she wouldn't care lol, she's 100% in every, to catch load farrier, this girls loves to be bathed, my little girl helps bath her, stands like a rock to mount. Great in the school but still green, and just needs her education carrying on, although she walk trots and canter, fantastic on open fields, and will happily go the speed you want even if her friends gallop off.
