Little miss April April is a 13.3h 9yo compact leg at each corner cob mare. She currently a ‘happy hack’ ridden by a 5ft6 adult and is 100% in all traffic, farm machinery on the yard, bikes, children with footballs, loose dogs etc. She has been mainly ridden alone but doesn't hot up in company or in open fields, she is much more woah than go! But that said she is still responsive to the leg not a kick kick sort. April has no vices and has a loving and inquisitive personality, although can get a bit anxious when left on the yard sometimes. 17.2hh gentle giant He has competed but no longer does as is it just not what he enjoys to do. I am only selling as I do not have time for him as I have a youngsters and other horses meaning I don't really have the time to hack him out. William is suitable for any rider as he is chilled out and a plod. His stable manners are amazing never kicks or bites and is very friendly, fine to catch, load. Due to William having very light stringhalt this also explains why he prefers to go out hacking instead of doing something that is demanding on his body. Very sad sale of a much loved family pony due to no regular jockey. 14.2hh very quiet weight carrying cob, 13 years old, barefoot, unrugged all year as she grows the thickest coat during winter, lives in or out, she is out at the moment as we have no spare stable. This mare has lovely manners and will suit confident novice or mother daughter share, she takes her confidence from you and is always willing to please and a very quick learner. I have had intelligent horsemanship lessons with her from which we both benefited. She has never bitten, kicked, reared or bucked, hacks alone or in company, snaffle mouth and responsive to leg aids, green in school as i bought her as a happy hacker, currently living out with ponies, a shire and a shetland gelding, cattle and sheep. Toby is amazing boy I have owned him for 5yr now he loves hacking and jumping is can move lovely in the school. He is great on the ground my 12y old daughter does loads with him turning him out bring him in grooms him put him on the walker loose schools him u name it she can do it with him. Toby has the potential to do so much more then just hacking. Toby is not bothered by any traffic I have taken him over motorway bridges down main road, housing estate open fields, Toby is the one that goes on the out on the road when out with one that is not great on roads or if I have my daughter riding out with us. When Toby is in regular work u can put anyone on him he is that good but unfortunately Toby does have one vice that if he is not kept in regular work he will put in a few bucks when u get back on him and he needs a confident rider to push him on and this is the same with his schooling once he know u r boss he will go like a dream.
