Fresh Start for Hens have ex commercial egg laying hens available for re-homing on Sat 14th Jan They're around 72 weeks old which is much younger than their natural life span. They're no longer considered commercially viable to the egg industry although most of them will continue to lay regular eggs for many months or even years. We re-home them into safe, secure environments where they can live out the rest of their lives. This may be into back gardens / allotments / paddocks / care homes / schools etc. They make lovely little pets and most become tame and happy to be handled in next to no time. We have numerous collection points available nationally. We ask a minimum donation of ��2.50 per bird to cover running costs of our rescues. Ad ID:
