Super 14hh mare 13 years old with low mileage; we have had this little mare for 5 years but she has been outgrown by both of my children. She is a black Highland/Haflinger cross; her father was a 14.2 hh blue dun Highlander national champion, her mother a Haflinger. Our pony is easy to do (clip, shoe, box), and an incredibly good doer; she is left out during the winter without a rug. Her vaccs and worming are up to date. She has taught my son at 11 years how to ride. She has been enjoyed by the entire family but she has not had a job for 18 months and she is simply needing a new home where she can be put to good use. She has a very lovely personality, and she is smart. She does not buck or rear. She is agile, loves sponsored rides and hacking, she loves water, gymkhanas, jumping and having fun. We have done a little intro dressage with her and she did herself proud. She has a soft snaffle mouth. Because of her type she needs a little more care during the summer months against midgies and flies, and she requires limited grass, preferably stabling at night. Please do come and meet her. Outstanding Mother Daughter Share!!!

Once in a lifetime mare! Gemma is a hh 13yr old cob mare, she is chaps registered. Couldn't fault this mare at all, all she's has done is supplied me with hours of fun. This mare really is anyone's ride, hacks alone or in company front or back bombproof in traffic passing cars,motorbikes and double decker buses daily without flinching, she's also taken nervous riders out on the roads and just plodded along. Happily goes in a field without getting silly will just plod along on the buckle unless you want her to go up a gear then she'll pick up the pace while still being an easy ride. This mare jumps for fun, easily clearing 1m courses with me, she's never refused at fillers and always tried her hardest, this mare once fitter could easily become a BS horse. She has 3 lovely paces and goes in a nice outline, has hunted with previous owner for many seasons and has proved to be a true hunts horse! When out competing she has thrown in the most pathetic little bucks once or twice in the warm up this isn't nasty behaviour just her having a bit of fun. This mare will be a great addition to any family, on many occasions I have led from her and she's not bothered at all by this. Gemma can be a plod when she needs to be but with the right rider she will easily perk up and become forward going, she's not the type of cob that needs to be kicked all the time she's is responsive of your leg. Currently only wearing front shoes as she's got strong feet, brilliant to load and clip (she is currently fully clipped). Snaffle mouthed for everything. I had huge plans for this mare but unfortunately uni has taken up most of my time and I just cant give her the exercise she needs, I really am gutted but I'm in no rush to sell she will only be going to the perfect home.
