This taster class will introduce you to the technique of Fused Glass. It will cover glass cutting, the use of different types of glass in fusing, the inclusion of metals for visual effects and glass enamel drawing. We have exclusive access to the grounds from 8am and I am running two 4hr sessions each day until the end of October. You do not need any specialist equipment for these practical workshops, just your camera and any lenses you have. Tripods can be useful but are not essential. Kenilworth Fireworks Photography Workshop - 5th Nov in

November is not complete without Fireworks! So why not join Alan Ranger and a select number of students to watch the Kenilworth fireworks and practice your photography skills. No prior knowledge of photography is needed to attend this workshop as Alan will be working individually with attendees to help their photography endeavours in accordance to their current skill level. This is the perfect opportunity to practice getting the right exposure in your photographs as well as recognising correct lighting, contrast and texture to shape in each shot. The Kenilworth Fireworks are simply stunning and are the perfect subjects for photography. You'll be working not only on your photography skills but your timing too as you'll have to time your shots perfectly to capture the fireworks. Dorset Coast Photography Workshop - January in Wareham

The Dorset coast is an exciting and great part of the UK to capture seascapes. We will work around Durdle Door and surrounding areas to make coastal images. As well as the classic seascapes we'll cover B&W or abstract too. This prehistoric coastline offers lots of variety and scope to suit all interests. Corfe Castle, Studland, Swanage, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door are some of the places we may visit on this 1 - 2 day workshop. Recommended equipment: Tripod (I have some for hire if you don't own one yet), No specialist lenses required, Remote cable release, A polariser filter is useful but not essential Neutral Density and Graduated ND filters are useful too. No prior knowledge of photography is required as each student will be taught individually, according to their level.
