Duke is a black 6 year old Welsh section D Has had a break due to no fault of his own but being brought back into work at present. Very willing and a lovely temperament. Unfortunately for sale as has no one to give him the attention he deserves. Duke will stand all day to be groomed, Good to bath/ load/ travel/ farrier. Good to hack in heavy traffic alone or in company. (We have to go under the m1 bridge) Has been stabled and good is living out alone at the minute. Here we have Duke, a lovely 4 year old gelding. Approx 14.2hh. Currently unbroken however has had a lot of work done with him, including walking on roads, lunging, jumping and pressing on his back all with saddle and bridle on and so is not too far off being ready for backing. Will stand for farrier and is good with all his feet. Has been in a wagon/trailer 3 times with me with hardly any fuss. Is passported and chipped as you would expect. I have noticed he particularly enjoys jumping even with the saddle flaps making scary noises and showed great willing to do it. Not too stocky for his breed but plenty of bone to hold any weight. Does year round in the field but was stabled when i first got him and during last years winter so would be fine in or out, practically whatever the weather and lives in a mixed herd no issues. Selling through no fault of his own just sadly unforeseen circumstances on my end. Sensible offers will be considered. Saddle and bridle included.
