Stunning ROR Gelding

Arte is a stunning year old exracehorse who finished his career as a 5 year old. Since then he has begun retraining in flat work and jumping over both natural & artificial fences. He still needs work in all disciplines of retraining but Arte would excel in any direction. He has the potential to be a great horse for someone willing to further his education. He is a real head turner! He has always been in the rosettes at intro and preliminary level reaching %. He has 3 big, elastic paces and although I haven't shown him, I think he'd be a judges best friend! He has a big scopey jump both cross country and showjumping but does tend to get strong and excited. Not a novice ride! He needs a strong confident rider who is sympathetic but firm. 16.1hh bay gelding ROR eligible

Pretty 16.1h bay gelding Premier Jacks 7yr old. Jack's has been shown in hand since reitering from racing. Previous owner stated that he has hunted in his previous home. However when taken to the common in company I found him to be quite hot and can spin. This will probably improve the more he goes out. Previos owner stated he soon settled. He hacks alone and in company however can jog so would not recommend for a novice rider. He has seen coloured fences and not phased by them. Jack's is still a project so would suite an experienced rider. Jack's doesn't need to be ridden every day. He can be left for weeks on end and behave when ridden again. With the right person he would be more than capable of eventing. His flat work is really starting to come on and he will carry himself nicely. Teeth were done in August. Worming up to date. 11yo TB Gelding - ROR Eligible, Potential Grassroots Eventer

Very sad and extremely reluctant sale… Jay A.K.A Keepsgettingbetter (IRE) is an 11 yo bay TB gelding who had raced only 4 times until . He is a good lad, a sweet and willing boy and very intelligent… Sold to me as a “ready-to-ride”, competition ready horse who knows his job and loves it too but it turned out Jay was given up on by his previous owner who left him out 24/7 for what I expect was many months with no work or real care as she had evented him until she’d had enough and bored, wanted a new mount to thrash. This only came to light after I’d got him home. Since, I have brought him on, retrained him from the ground up and he now doesn’t batter an eyelid at the farrier, vet or dentist and lunges (double lunge and long reins) to voice command like a true gent. He allows anyone to catch or turn him out and is quiet in his stable and in the field with no vices such as cribbing, weaving as many other Ex-Racehorses do. To ride, he is a nice, forward but often very fresh boy. He’s very sensitive and has a tendency to get way too excited and have a hoolie moment. If given an excuse, he will seize the opportunity. He is NOT a novice ride and can be a handful and therefore requires an experienced rider with a history of hot breeds and sharp and hot behaviour. This is typical Jay – not harmful with intent, a lovely sweet boy 99% of the time but over excitable for a hot minute – and in doing so, is very strong, can be a bit silly and lacking self-control. Jay is sensitive to the leg and very susceptible to seat aids and he LOVES to jump and has hunted, and competed in unaffiliated XC, SJ and dressage although not with me. He has a HUGE scopey jump and will jump anything you point him at. He has so much potential with the right person, unfortunately due to the lack of time, that’s not me and I couldn’t be any more gutted. I do not want to sell Jay and it is still a very hard decision but I have brought him on as far as I possibly can as I work very long hours and so cannot afford him the further training and schooling that he needs and deserves to progress his ridden work – during the week as I arrive to the yard late and will not ever ride when alone on the yard for safety reasons. Jay needs someone with the time, patience and experience to improve his ridden discipline and progress him from his outstanding ground and lunge work which unfortunately, I just cannot do. £ ONO - The right home is so much more important than price. I just want Jayboy to be enjoyed to his full potential with the right person. Vet checked, teeth and back done in early November , new shoes every 6 weeks without fail and not due vacs until August . All rounder/ror 16'2" Tb gelding, ex-race horse

Large 16.2hh Tb, 14yrs, Light Bay, Ex-racehorse Bear would make a fantastic all rounder, hunter or RoR competition horse for a confident rider. He hacks beautifully alone and in company. He would suit both female and male riders of most ages. Great with traffic, farrier, loading, etc. Since retiring from racing he has hunted, had some cross-country schooling and been to a couple of show jumping lessons and competitions. 16hh 6 year old TB Gelding Horse for Sale(ROR Unraced)

Lovely project TB for sale, based in Arley/Cheshire. *Experienced Home wanted* 16hh, 6 years old, Bay, Gelding, registered with Weatherby's as 'McCool Runnings' otherwise known as 'Mac' at home. Sire: Cockney Rebel Dam: Dances with Angels. Fully up to date with Vacs, dentist, physio etc (nothing noted) and passed 2 stage vetting in Feb when I bought him which you are welcome to view. Loads and travels fine (once he finds his feet), and perfect with the farrier, he can be a little sensitive with his ears but not nasty, and I haven't clipped him but he was fully clipped when I bought him so assume no issues. He is fine to bath, goes in the hot wash/solarium and groom etc. Sadly for sale as I do not have enough time to do this boy justice and continue is education, he is not suitable for novices due to his age, breed and background. He trained to race but was too slow so never raced but is registered ROR, I bought Mac in Feb as a project to bring on whilst my other competition horse is out of action, unfortunately due to a change in work commitments I am no longer able to dedicate the time to him and I am struggling during the week. He is a lovely boy, but he needs stimulation and consistent repetitive work and therefore not suitable for just anyone - he can be spooky and can get upset in busy/loud environments but has already come on leaps and bounds with me as an amateur, with consistent works and lots of it he will excel massively. I have taken him to camp/clinics and out training around somerford/kelsall and he has behaved impeccably, drops/ditches/water all fine etc. Was professionally schooled for 7 weeks over summer with Andrew Downes, and works in a lovely soft outline but but is still a baby and it is not perfect but he is ridden in a Nathe rubber snaffle for everything and is not strong in the slightest and therefore requires someone willing to put more work into him - this is reflected in his price and I am of course open to sensible offers and happy to discuss him in full, as I cannot stress enough that I want the best for this boy - therefore home very much more important then price. Stunning bay gelding, just over 16hh, 7yo TB gelding. in

Suitable hacking/hunting. Been cubhunted this autumn and been on hunt rides. XC schooled through water and ditches etc. Excellent in traffic and hacks alone or in company very happily. Easy to do in all ways. Nice looking horse with good conformation, could also suit a showing home to be a lightweight show hunter.

MARLEY looking for a loaner for my 4 year old black traditional cob gelding. Marley is about 14.1hh and still has a bit of growth so should make 14.3hh. Marley is brilliant in the stable and out tied up whilst grooming. He picks all 4's up with no issues. He is such a loving pony and loved lots of fuss and pampering! He is brilliant on the ground when leading on the yard and off the yard when going on walks. Marley isn't your typical ploddy cob, he is forward but always listens! He is never strong and he has excellent breaks. He is a genuine pony who is eager to please and loves his job. He is willing and will always take good care of his rider, never dangerous. He hasn't ever bolted, reared or bronked etc... with me, he is a very sane pony. He has a lovely extended trot and smooth balanced canter. Marley's most favourite things are pole work and hacking out! He is very good out in traffic, although he needs a confident rider as he feeds of confidence. He is not dangerous in anyway he hasn't got a nasty bone in his body I just don't want him having a nervous rider on him picking up bad habits.
