STUNNING LARGE VINTAGE OFFICE DESK

stunning vintage office Pedestal Writing Desk Library teacher desk painted. This is an old solid wood piece (don't know the age)that was used before and might show some slight marks and wear due to age,and was refurbished to a high standard in my opinion:) This amazing Large old desk / piece was used before and painted and designed by me six months ago. The wood i believe it is mahogany and it is a very heavy item. The whole piece(2 pieces) was sanded down,primed, painted in a cream color,sealed and waxed. This piece as you can see has been finished with more then french upholstery nails which were applied one by one by myself. The desk comes in two pieces,the desktop wood comes off as in most of the vintage desks and this will also help you for easier transport. The desktop wood is in a dark brown wood walnut stain, which was sanded down completely to bare wood before being sealed and waxed too. * 6 good size drawers and one of them is wooden file drawer ideal for home offices which is great to sort all your documents. (drawers was also stained in dark brown color). * the original old brass handles that also show some slight marks due to use and age. all drawers are dovetail drawers which mean very good quality and heavy duty and not the ones that are made these days and are falling apart. For sale is this very cool totally original mid century desk. It's a lovely scruffy stylish piece with bags of character and very solid. It's in total original condition I've just given it a clean and wax. Dimensions are Width 100 Depth 62 Height 76 all cms. All of my items are genuine vintage or antique. Attractive vintage mahogany writing desk. A lovely vintage writing table. We date this desk to the second half of the 20th century. The desk sits on four tapered legs with reeded detail at the top. The desk has five drawers to its serpenting shaped front, the drawers are fitted with attractive drop handles on embossed oval backplates. The drawers have an attractive finely figured mahogany veneered facia with beaded edges. The top surface has a tooled dark green leather with crossbanded edges. There is a further leather top pull out slide to each end of the desk. The desk has a height of cm), a width of cm) and a depth of cm). This lovely vintage mahogany desk remains in very good solid condition with some minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The table top has some very minor indentations, light scratches and marks from past use and there are a few small marks to the leather. The front surface has some minor scratches and usage marks.
