Bailey is a 14.2hh medium-weight skewbald traditional gelding desperately seeking new home due to me leaving for university this weekend!! He is nice and evenly marked and short coupled, with kind eyes. He is soft mouthed and responsive to leg and seat aids so has good transitions and a lovely working trot in the school and out hacking. Forward going but not silly! Lovely friendly nature, would make ideal riding club pony, or show pony in the right hands, which I will be unable to give him unfortunately, and he will be wasted in the field if he is not sold or loaned. He has been around farm machinery and cattle as he currently lives on a busy working farm thus he has seen many "scary" things! Doesn't kick or rear, has thrown the occasional buck but merely through excitement never out of nastiness. Can occasionally nap however a firm squeeze with your legs stops him and keeps him going in the right direction and listening to you! Has been schooled and knows basic lateral movements such as leg yielding, and flexes well doing serpentines. He is progressing in canter however finds it easier out in the field as opposed to the school. Has been over trotting poles and a few small cross poles. Ready to do lots more! Lunges nicely, listens and knows all vocal commands and works in an outline. He has buckets of potential and will go far in the right hands! Microchipped and CHAPS registered. Bailey is a medium-weight, five year old skewbald traditional cob type gelding, with a friendly nature, who is forward going but soft mouthed. He is for sale Urgently due to university term starting again in January and he is going to waste in a field. Having lived on a busy working farm for three years he has seen many 'scary' things and been ridden and lead past machinery and bale stacks etc. Doesn't kick or rear, has thrown the occasional buck but merely through excitement never out of nastiness. Knows basic lateral movements and flexes well in serpentines, and has a good working trot and knows the aids for canter although he is still green. Has done trotting poles and a few small cross poles. Knows all vocal commands while on the lunge and works nicely in an outline. Microchipped and CHAPS registered. Very easy to do, up to date with farrier, would make a lovely family pony and has buckets of potential as he is evenly marked and has good conformation. Currently standing at 14.2hh however still has growing to do.
