With a heavy heart, Rolo is for sale due to no rider and going to waste in the field, we have owned Rolo for 5 years and he has been an absolute gem, ridden by novices and very young riders, he is a typical cob, greedy, lives on fresh air, and a super plod... he is a fantastic hacking horse and will go for miles, he is as near to super safe as it gets, nothing fazes him at all... he doesn't like schooling and can be very stubborn but in the right hands he will do his job and has competed at local level show jumping.... he lives out all year round and will not be stabled, we have tried and he dislikes it to a point of jumping the door!!! Spike was backed professionally in January and since then has proved to be a very trainable boy with a good attitude towards his work. Hacks alone and in company, has been to polework and Trec clinics, proving to be quite bold about both activities. Good to load and travel (trailer/box), good with farrier he is currently barefoot. He hasn't jumped with a person yet due to my lack of desire to leave the ground but jumps nicely on the lunge and is sensible over poles.
