Heart breaking sale of absolutely stunning 16hh rising 8 year old ISH gelding. He really stands out from the crowd!! He has lovely paces, excellent stable manners, great to handle, the easiest horse to load and travel, shoe, catch, clip, hacks alone and in company, good in traffic etc etc. Has competed unaffiliated dressage and sj, xc schooled and hunted before I owned him. Always behaves perfectly at shows. Has never bucked, reared, bolted or napped but I feel he is not suitable for a novice. No vices. The only reason he is for sale is because he doesn't like coloured poles, jumps or fillers and I want to show jump. 16.3 Irish sports horse- skewbald gelding Born on Bailey enjoys jumping, fun rides, long hacks and cross country. He was used to hunt with Ross Harriers before I bought him however I have never hunted him. For the past 3 1/2 years I have developed his schooling and showjumping, despite never refusing and rarely knocking down a fence in a show jumping ring, his canter needs developing further if looking to buy for showjumping. Bailey is great out hacking.. alone or in company, infront or behind, open fields, waiting/walking in open fields without getting fizzy or impatient, opening gates, no issues with tractors/motorbikes/lorries/buses as nothing seems to phase him. He is also good for the farrier, to clip, catch, bath and load. Bailey can be a little bit bolshy sometimes on the ground so he needs someone firm to tell him right from wrong. I am only selling Bailey as I work full time and I have got back into mounted games so no longer have the time he needs and deserves. Very sad sale so finding a good home is my top priority and as he doesn't enjoy schooling I would love for him to go to a fun hacking/hunting home. Bailey is not suited for novice riders.
