14.1 hh, stunning mare for sad sale. Genuine reason for sale as owner has a broken foot with long term prognosis not great. This mare is too nice to be sat in a field without a job to do. She is a really lovely mare and not mareish at all. Good to handle, with vet and farrier. She is passported, micro chipped and up to date with vaccinations. Nantgwinau Cadog (by Geler Sparc x Rhandir Farwel Haf) Cadog is a very handsome hh Welsh Section D gelding rising 9 years old (foaled ). He is very intelligent, inquisitive and quick to learn. He's also quirky and full of character; he likes to play and loves being groomed. He has always been barefoot and is extremely tough. He can live out 24/7 with or without rugs in all weather conditions. Cadog has mostly been taught from the ground and has walked, trotted and cantered under saddle using natural horsemanship techniques. In he spent 7 weeks with a natural horsemanship professional. He has hacked out in company and on his own however due to lack of time and circumstances he is relatively inexperienced for his age and has been out of work for a year so ideally he will need someone knowledgeable, experienced, calm and confident to bring him back in to work and improve his confidence enough to get him hacking out on his own again. Cadog weaves and very occasionally windsucks and has some issues with being stabled so he prefers to live out 24/7; he did however make a significant improvement whilst being stabled during his time with the natural horsemanship professional. Recent work in the stable has also proved successful using a natural horsemanship technique. If stabling is to be a consideration, he would require further work in this area. He will also require company whilst turned out. He has previously travelled in a box and trailer. I have owned Cadog since he was 2 years old so my decision to take this step hasn't been taken lightly; he is only being rehomed due to lack of time and circumstances. *Offered For Sale* year old (Feb ), Passportes and microchipped REGISTERED Welsh section D mare. Liver chestnut in colour with white blaze & three white socks. Was professionally schooled as a 4 year old, but hasn't been in work since October last year due to owners health. She's the type that needs riding every day and is quite strong, therefore not a novice ride and a typical Welsh! She's made me very happy since she was 10 months old, and always tried her best, but she needs to be out competing/doing what she does best! Unfortunately I can't give her this anymore and it's not fair being a field ornament! Teeth, back, worming are all upto date, she does need sedating to have her teeth done as she gets nervous. Is fully shod due to the fact she gets foot sore if ridden without due to stones etc. Does need her vaccines restarting. Bombproof in traffic and is quiet when ridden in the field and the school however will try it on and test you at times, i.e. If the riders not confident to push her forward and ignore it. She's a very proud horse, that will need the work put in to remind her of her schooling but will go far in the right hands. Won both her dressage tests as a 4 year old scoring 66% and 69%. Has been over cross country jumps and over coloured poles. Ask her and she will try. Has a scar under the saddle where she had a skin rumour removed last year, the furs never grown back but the vet confirmed there was no more. Travels in a trailer without the partition and without another horse, but will not travel otherwise due to an accident. Won inhand champion and overall supreme champion as a 3 year old.
