Super little mare with temperament to match. Stunning looks and good balanced markings. It is with a very heavy heart that we offer her for sale as she is not big enough for me to ride since my son lost interest. Doing well, walk trot canter all beautifully performed at her level of progress both from the ground and ridden. Pops over a small jump with ease and fluency. Long reining without hindrance and enjoys doing her party piece pony tricks (twirl, on one knee etc.) Good stable manners, good for farrier, loads easily first time. Hello everyone, This is Emily... And Emily has a sad story to tell. I am a member of staff at a care home in stroud and a few months ago we started to see this little black beauty. She spent a lot of time in our large garden and never seemed to leave it's. She was a very scared little girl and would often hiss at us and run away it anyone got close to her. It became quite clear to us that she didn't have a home and we thought she may have been feral so good in our nature as carers are we all bought her some food and began to make her life a little more comfortable as she wouldn't come inside the house and was sleeping out in the cold. Over the last few months she has become very very friendly and has grown a bond and began to trust us. She would even come and sit on our laps for a cuddle outside! However we took the time to take her to the vets and it turned out that she was chipped.. The vets rang her owners and they said that they had a dog now and so didn't want her after all.. She had been missing for two years and her real name was Primrose! This made us all very sad and I decided to take her on as I just couldn't bare to see her go to a rescue centre with all the other long term rescued black cats. We have called her Emily and she has had a vet check and her first vaccination along with a flea and worm treatment and is currently living with me but away from my other pets. Unfortunately my situation has changed in the last few days so I will not be able to keep Emily as I wished to. Therefore we are now in search for Emily's forever home. She is a lovely little 5 year old beauty and will settle in very well. She may just need a little bit of love and affection to gain her trust and then she won't ever let you go... A lovely gentle dartmoor mare looking for a good home. She's 4 years old and is 12hh has partly been brought on wears saddle fine doesn't mind being sat on in the slightest needs work with the bridle, I'v riden her out with another pony infront of us and she was ok but needs work.
