Baby Grand for sale in Upminster. Its a 4ft Baby grand made by German company Steinberg. According to its serial number it was made in the 's. It has a sweet and mellow tone and consists of 85keys. The sound board is in good condition and body is in good condition with a few blemishes on the outside case at the back. All of the keys work, HOWEVER, keys A6 and C7 have a knocking/percussive sound. They play and sound at the correct pitch, however there is a knocking sound which could be off putting depending on the music you wish to play. The Piano has been used to play music from Bach to Debussy through Beethoven and Grieg. It is being sold due to relocation but has been loved and played by two conservatoire level pianists. Boyd London Upright Piano and adjustable black piano stool going free. It's a good and solid upright piano that has been taken care of and loved for 3 years. It's no Steinway but has great character and has a decent tone once tuned. It has been tuned regularly and has had an overhaul (including some new felts replaced). It is in good working order and great fun to play. It would make a great piano for a family, a beginner or a good all rounder for a church hall, pub or school. I can get it out my front door but cannot transport it any further than the pavement outside my house. It has a cast iron frame and is very very heavy: will need at least 2 or 3 sturdy people to move it. Piano removals recommended!
