The bass is in excellent condition for a bass from the late 80s it comes with Status gigbag and spare strings. It has a carbon graphite neck and the body is made from resin. It weighs 4.6kgs and sounds fantastic with active tone control and balance. Frets are fine with a straight neck. One of the most sought after and playable basses from the ’s. I've owned this bass from new bought in the early 90’s. Excellent condition, never gigged – studio use only. This minor blemish goes un-seen and un-noticed unless you regularly play at the high end of the neck, even then it is barely noticeable and does not deter playing in anyway. The small ding was present when I purchased the bass, as a result I negotiated some free Trace Elliot round wound bass strings which I will be happy to include in the sale, there is a set of Trace Elliot medium gauge on the bass and an additional four packs of 5 string medium gauge strings, the strings are hard to come by now and generally sell for around £ per pack on auction sites. I will also supply a couple of leather straps and the original Status Graphite gig bag again in pristine condition and unused.
