Home is more important than price! Reiver is a 10 year old Standard bred ex harness racer. He has been in the same home for 5 years now, he is not a novice ride (my mum rides him and she is not a rider, he is very gentle with her), he has been broken in to ride and he has 3 good paces, would make a lovely dressage horse in the right hands. He needs a confident rider to continue his education. He is very patient and willing, He is brilliant on the trot and can fly like the wind. He hacks out alone and is great with other horses. He is an absolute gent when it comes to grooming he will stand for days on end he loves it, loves having his feet done, picks them up when asked. He is great with the farrier and vet super chilled when having his jabs. He is also fab to load and will go walk in and out easily! He is easy to catch 8 times out of 10, food always works though! prefers to live out, but will also go in if needed. All jabs and worming are up to date. He comes with passport and is micro-chipped. He has just had his front shoes on after his winter break. He is still able to drive and is confident in this sphere. Only selling due to not having the ability and facilities to continue his training, other wise we would keep him, it is a waste of a super horse to keep him. He is also a great family friend, who is good with the dog, cats and chickens. He is use to the tractors. He has competed locally in unaffiliated show jumping, (qualifying for the second round of Trailblazers), dressage, usually scoring 65% and being placed. He has also done hunter trials and one day events. He has regular lessons and is part of a local riding club. He hacks alone and in Company, going first or last and is not bothered by any form of traffic - large or small. He is great in open spaces. I have led him from my daughters pony and he has also been led. He is snaffle mouthed at all times. He will happily live in or out He was successfully shown with his previous owners and qualified for Royal London, Equifest and Ponys U.K., although this is not something we have done. Someone to Keep Standard Bred Gelding fit while I'm preg!!

Hello! I just found out I'm pregnant not long ago and decided that it's best to stop riding while I am. My lovely Reiver is a genuinely safe lovely boy who's bombproof and especially incredible in traffic. Although he's a 15'3hh standardbred he rides like a pony (rather sweet) A confident and experienced adult/older teen is preferred. He's updated with all vaccines and worming. I would like £15 p/w for help with maintenance. This is possibly negotiable. You can take him out where ever (around the area which is very large) and whenever you like. You are welcome to come over and take him for a little ride in the field he's in, he wouldn't have been ridden for about 3 weeks from today.
