Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar

Great sounding guitar in excellent condition, only a few minor scratches to pick guard and the bottom of the body. I replaced the stock bridge with a Mustang one to stop strings slipping but otherwise as new. No cracks in the neck. Includes original bridge, soft case and whammy bar.

If you're here you know what it is so all I have to say is it's in perfect shape apart from a few small indentations in the finish on the front. I shimmed the neck and added an aftermarket bridge to give a good string break angle so it doesn't rattle or ping like most Mustangs. If the ad is live it's still for sale. No swaps and no silly offers, thanks. It's already competetively priced at about 50% of RRP.

A wanted gift however considering selling it as I just never play it... Excellent condition with the exception of I think one ding in the paint work - its one of those marks thats a tiny bump in the paint rather than a break in the paint.... I have hard tailed the bridge. Something I believe a certain Kurt Cobain and numerous other guitarists have done. The photos I have uploaded are not up to date as I have since used a mixture of metal and rubber washers for added "grip" I would provide the original springs for the tremolo and the tremolo arm. I hard tailed this as I wanted a guitar I could go to for downturning etc and not have to completely set up the tremolo spring tension every single time on other guitars and indeed this one. If you are looking at this guitar you probably know a bit about it. Please by all means check out the Fender website for more details. Its short scale so ideal for smaller hands. It has a lovely neck, quite chunky, but the short scale helps with that. Great for chords etc etc I am doing this quickly so please forgive me for using a picture of the guitar pulled of the internet as an example of its overall appearance. It has a good set up but I would be happy to ensure its set up correctly again before handing it over to you. I live in a very warm house and at this time of year who knows, it may have grown! These retail at around and above £330 new and they come with that pesky tremolo system - which you either love or hate. Currently set up with gauge 10 strings. As per factory set up when bought new. So other than intonation been set and a slight tweak to the truss rod it remains as it came - with of course the exception of the bridge being hard tailed. Looking for £240.
