Works perfectly. Sounds amazing and the build quality is really high. In as new condition with the following exceptions: Two tiny marks - one on the bottom of the body, and one on the scratchplate; pickup pole pieces have a bit of surface rust. Oh and it will need new strings, depending on your style (I like dead strings). Loads of pics available on request. I fell out of love with 5 strings, and now need the cash for a new 4 string bass! Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass 70's Natural

I got this second hand in a trade a few months ago as I wanted to try out a jazz bass, but as great as it is I'd rather just have a Precision bass again. The damage to the face of the instrument happened under the previous owner and has no effect whatsoever on the sound or playability of the bass, but I've made sure the pictures show it clearly so that any prospective buyer knows what they're getting. These are £340 brand new so I'm looking to either sell this for £200 o.n.o. Or, I'd be open to trade for a Squier P-bass (or I could trade this + cash for a fender). Really good quality Squier jazz bass, black with maple neck, pearl type block markers. Very good condition with just the usual light scratches and bumps of a regularly played and gigged bass. This is one of the older versions of this bass with the excellent Duncan Designed pick-ups. Has had a recent set-up with a full fret re-dress. Nice low action. Truss rod working exactly as it should. Would prefer pick up from Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk but will post if necessary (I always use UPS). Fender (Squier) Dimension V 5-String Active Bass Guitar

For Sale, my Fender (Squier) Dimension V 5-String Electric Bass Guitar. Active electronics with 3-band EQ + volume controls onboard. In Cherry red stain with the woodgrain showing through and a maple neck and fret board. A gorgeous and striking instrument to look at. Very versatile sounding and can go from growling rock to smooth modern R&B sounds with everything in between. Body is mark free with no chips, dents or scratches. There's a small mark on the back of the next which I've pictured. This was from where I foolishly drove with it not in a case and had it in the front seat of the car resting against my amp head. So the Bass has never fallen or been dropped. Only ever seen rehearsal, never gigged. Only selling as I want the same thing but in 4-string and having a 5-string is a bit of a luxury given I don't need it in my current band. No case or gig bag, but strings are absolutely mint (every second hand bass I've ever bought needs new strings so factor that in!) and I've owned this from new, purchased only this year. If you're here you know what it is so all I have to say is it's in perfect shape apart from a few small indentations in the finish on the front. I shimmed the neck and added an aftermarket bridge to give a good string break angle so it doesn't rattle or ping like most Mustangs. If the ad is live it's still for sale. No swaps and no silly offers, thanks. It's already competetively priced at about 50% of RRP.

A wanted gift however considering selling it as I just never play it... Excellent condition with the exception of I think one ding in the paint work - its one of those marks thats a tiny bump in the paint rather than a break in the paint.... I have hard tailed the bridge. Something I believe a certain Kurt Cobain and numerous other guitarists have done. The photos I have uploaded are not up to date as I have since used a mixture of metal and rubber washers for added "grip" I would provide the original springs for the tremolo and the tremolo arm. I hard tailed this as I wanted a guitar I could go to for downturning etc and not have to completely set up the tremolo spring tension every single time on other guitars and indeed this one. If you are looking at this guitar you probably know a bit about it. Please by all means check out the Fender website for more details. Its short scale so ideal for smaller hands. It has a lovely neck, quite chunky, but the short scale helps with that. Great for chords etc etc I am doing this quickly so please forgive me for using a picture of the guitar pulled of the internet as an example of its overall appearance. It has a good set up but I would be happy to ensure its set up correctly again before handing it over to you. I live in a very warm house and at this time of year who knows, it may have grown! These retail at around and above £330 new and they come with that pesky tremolo system - which you either love or hate. Currently set up with gauge 10 strings. As per factory set up when bought new. So other than intonation been set and a slight tweak to the truss rod it remains as it came - with of course the exception of the bridge being hard tailed. Looking for £240.
