Young Tortoise for sale comes with article 10 cites certificate. Youngsters can spend summer months in pen in the garden but will need a tortoise table or simular with uva/uvb lamp providing correct light and heat source. When older this species would usually hibernate in the winter but not so when young hence the need for indoor table/cage for winter months. These make great pets.. Cant be sure if male or female as too young to reliably know but incubated at 32 degrees to me female. So most likely female but cant be sure. Species is Testudo graeca loads of info on the web just google it... Adult Uk Cb proven Testudo graeca nabeulensis (Tunisian spurthighed) male. Fully grown measuring around 12cms. Non hibernating species so does need to be kept warm and dry over winter. This little chap is use to spending summer outside in a secure stony enclosure with hot box and edible plants and being brought in at night, Spending cooler/wet and winter days in a large indoor enclosure with uv/heat lamp. He needs to be housed alone due to being quite a tyrant to females but also this species are sensitive to alien pathogens from other tortoises so must NOT be mixed with other species. Ideal species for those looking not to hibernate or wanting a large species. He has been fed on a natural diet of plants and vit supplements. Cute little chap only selling due to work commitments. Tunisian spur thighed tortoise hatchling

Testudo graeca nabeulensis (spur thighed Tunisian uk cb hatchlings available. These tortoises are a small sub species of spur thighed that can be a little more sensitive than the more common spur thighed ibera.) They need to have correct housing/temperatures and kept away from damp areas. Saying that if kept in the right conditions they should not have any issues and have fab little characters. They do NOT hibernate. They have indoor tables for winter and a safe enclosure for the summer days. Fed on a natural plant diet (never seen a lettuce or veg leaf!) Plenty of calcium and vit supplements given. Good quality uv lighting. Advice given from the start and given for as long as needed. Also starter care packs available if wanted. Set up must be ready before they can go and evidence of that (picture) must be sent to me. I have one available full set up which includes all lightings supplements substrate ect which can be provided for an additional cost if needed. Also have Article 10. and care sheets provided.
