We're looking for a friend for our 6 month old male English Springer Spaniel. Preferably a female and under the age of 5 but we're open to other offers. Good with other dogs and people is a must, however I don't mind if work needs to be done in other areas. Doesn't have to be KC registered but must be chipped and up to date with jabs etc. We're not willing to pay a lot however I'm sure we can put you at ease that they'll be very looked after, if not spoilt and loved in a warm, friendly home. We live in Castle Donington so surrounded by fields and we must walk about a good couple of miles each evening just for our own pup. She is 61/2 months old and in good health, all vaccines and treatments up to date. She is very affectionate and her favourite game is football with her tennis ball. Rehoming cocker & springer spaniel

I am looking to rehome my two dogs, Murphy a black and white springer spaniel aged 3 and Barley a golden working cocker spaniel aged 3; through no fault of their own. Unfortunately due to changes in circumstances at home and working commitments I don’t feel their getting the exercise, time and attention they need and I need to do what’s best for them, as I just want them to have the best life. I am heartbroken to have had to come to this decision and would ideally like them to be rehomed together as they are very close, however I would consider splitting them up for their right forever home. They are both very good with socialising with other dogs and also great around children, however they can be quite boisterous and can jump up. They are both very friendly and loving. With them being working dogs they have A LOT of energy so would need to go to someone who has the time to be able to give them the stimulation they need, as they can be hard work if they don’t get enough exercise. They love being of their lead and going for a swim, they are good at recall and always come back when asked to. They are very strong and do pull on their lead, I currently find it very hard to walk them on their leads, but they are very obedient off the lead. Barley does suffer with separation anxiety, he can be vocal and does crave constant attention when he’s around people which can be quite demanding so he does need time and preferably to go to someone who doesn’t work full time so he’s not left on his own often. They are both fully vet checked regularly, vaccinations, flea and worming treatments are all up to date. They are both currently insured and have had no health problems to date. They have both been castrated. They are both currently on a complete dry food diet “Dr Johns” they are on hypo allergic biscuits. Murphy is 5 generation pedigree kennel club registered but Barley has no papers. I’m happy to bring them to visit your home to see how they get on in the surroundings. If there were to be any problems where they haven’t settled in properly then I would take them back in a heartbeat it’s not a problem, as I do not want them to be passed onto someone else. English Springer Spaniel Wanted

English Springer Spaniel Wanted. The dog must: be toilet trained, at least 10-months old, good with kids, good on car journeys, able to be home alone for an hour, micro chipped, and preferably neutered/spayed. Proof of vaccinations will also be required. We're a family of four, with two kids aged 15 and 10, and we are all very keen on getting a dog. Our house is on the corner of our street, meaning we have a very large secure garden (with a smaller enclosed part), suitable for any dog to play in, with a vets and large dog park across the road. We also go away on weekends to a dog friendly site (called Cosgrove Park), giving us plenty of time to play with, and take the dog on long walks. In the week, the dog will be home alone for only an hour each day, meaning it will have company for pretty much the whole day.
