He needs a confident rider as he does get excited at times, however nothing silly or stupid. He can pace at times if very excited but on the whole he’s a gentleman. He is not a novice ride & needs a confident rider not someone inexperienced or looking for a first horse. He is excellent to hack out alone or in company brilliant in traffic & does not spook but he is forward going & does get very excited. I have hunted him & done plenty of fun rides which he was brilliant at but the down side to hunting it he got so excited he struggled with all the standing around.
