This is a first edition print signed by both Group Captain Sir Douglas Bader and Air Vice-Marshal Johnnie Johnson. I purchase this framed print new in the early 's from The Military Gallery in Bath. Image size: 47 cm x 33 cm (18.5 inches x 13 inches) Frame size: 55 cm x 42 cm (21.5 inches x 16.5 inches) Sir Douglas Bader lost both his legs in a plane crash but this didn't stop him being a flying ace for the RAF during the Second World War. He was Britain's most famous wartime pilot whose story was told in the film Reach For The Sky. Johnnie Johnson was the top scoring RAF fighter pilot of the Second World War, his death, courage and flying skills were outstanding. Johnson counted for at least 38 enemy aircraft over Britain and occupied Europe, Britain's highest scoring fighter pilot during WWII. The print colour has slightly faded over the years but the image and signatures are very clear. It is a silver frame with anti-glare glass. Cash on collection please. Read More
