MEET SPIKE. SPIKE IS A RESCUE DOG IN THE CARE OF A YORKSHIRE RESCUE. HE WILL BE VACCINATED, CASTRATED, MICRO CHIPPING. A HOME CHECK AND VET REFERENCE IS NEEDED TO ADOPT THE LOVELY SPIKE. One word to describe this senior Stafford is adorable. We collected Spike from the stray kennels on Christmas Eve as he was so irresistible and so hard not to fall in love. He has an amazing character and is so affectionate. At 12 years old this amazing senior chap needs to be in a warm home being loved and treated like a Prince for the rest of his days. He is not demanding and will make someone a wonderful steady senior. Spike went for his health check yesterday to the vets where he greeted everyone with kisses and a jet propelled wagging tail. He was as good as gold and travelled great! Spike is healthy and happy and despite some arthritis in his back legs he is fine. Now on mild pain relief and having steady walks Spike is waiting for that special person out there to fall in love with him just like we have. Spike has shown no issues with other dogs and is happy to go for short walks and receive fussing and attention from everyone. He is looking for a senior dog loving home where he will have plenty of company, cuddles and comforts. A quiet home not busy is what he needs. IN RESCUE WAITING FOR A NEW HOME FOR OVER TWO YEARS. Spike (also known as Lucky) is a handsome male 3-year-old lurcher, looking for a special home. He is affectionate and gentle. Spike walks beautifully on the lead and does not pull. He is good off the lead with excellent recall, is obedient, and house-trained. Spike is good with other dogs out on walks but would prefer to be the only dog in a home. Spike can be a little temperamental and will need sensitive handling. Could you be the special, understanding, patient owner he needs? Spike is not suitable to live with cats or small children. Spike's ideal home would be in the countryside with a single person or couple with no other dogs. Spike is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date with his vaccinations. For sale Embla Dundee aka Dougie is a 16.2hh 4year old chocolate dun gelding. Dougie has the most fantastic temperament he is keen to learn and desperately wants to please. This is a very reluctant sale of a much loved pony. Spencer is 3 years old and currently standing at hh although he still has some growing to do and is expected to make around hh. He has 2 blue eyes, lovely markings and lots of feather. We have owned spencer for a year now and he has never put a foot wrong, he has a great character and lots of potential. He is good to catch and lead. He accepts a bit and roller and has started long reining, he has also had a saddle on with no issues. He is very friendly and loves a fuss. He will stand to be groomed, picks all 4 feet up and is good for the farrier. The only reason spencer is looking for a new home is that he is ready to progress with his education now and I don't think I can do him justice, I think he would benefit from an owner who has more experience and confidence than myself. Winston (Wiseton) 5year old 15.3hh thoroughbred gelding. After a tough time after his racing career, Winnie came to me in May as a very sorry looking horse. After lots of TLC and plenty of good food, he is finally looking super. He started retraining September last year, but was then put out of work in November due to me focusing on my mare and giving him time to mature. Since November he has been sat on a few times and always been fine, just a little touchy (which you can expect from any young, sensitive thoroughbred). He has done a fair amount of lunging work and is starting to come into good shape, but he will need to be brought back into ridden work. Unfortunately as he isn't turning out as I would like, he needs to find a home with a job that he will enjoy. I think he would excel in an experienced riding club/eventing/jumping home with an older, experienced teenager or adult and unfortunately I don't have much interest in jumping. Winnie has no vices at all, although he can be grumpy and pull faces at times, but will never do anything other than scowl! He does actually enjoy the fuss too, just likes to pretend he doesn't. ??
