The bike is in great condition and has been looked after, its a bike, it has a rear fox and front fox flot 32 which is adjustable to 100mm to 140mm travel. The rear wheel is a Maxxis 26" and with a Hope pro 2 hub. It's 27 speed with Avid juicy 7 front and back hydraulic brakes. A Shram gear system with a xo carbon fibre rear mech to, the seals have been replaced plus there's an extra rear wheel with a 9 speed cassette and a pump for the shocks. I am now 70 yrs old, I have been unwell so my bike must go. This was my track transport when I worked at Nevis Range Mountain Bike Circuit (World Championship held there at Fort william). I brought it to Neath when I retired and moved south but I have not used it for 7 years. It has been maintained by NR staff and never abused as can be seen by the untouched paintwork. The handling and precision steering is what it is all about, this bike gives you confidence when going down that track. If a great condition FSR is what you are looking for then I doubt you will find better unless it is still in the box. A junk Chinese bike will cost more and a direct type bike will break the Bank. Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp Hi, I'm reluctantly selling my Stumpjumper as I managed to give myself a back injury. (not bike related) I got this bike at the start of the summer with big hopes of getting into mountain biking, in particular, Enduro and Downhill with this being an entry level bike so I could learn the basics and get started. Little did I know what this thing was actually capable of as it kept up with my mates Mondraker Foxy Carbon XR with ease on our local trails at Glentress. The bike is a large sized frame but feels more like a medium. (I'm 5,11" and it fits me just fine, wouldn't go any taller though) and runs like a dream and would be a perfect starter for someone looking to get into the sport as this really is a jack of all trades. Just before I had to stop riding it I replaced the brakes, grips and added the mudguard. I will throw in the Bell helmet for free if needed as its like new and I will sadly be no longer be needing it. Pick up only. Cash on collection. Contact via call, text or email. £400 ono.
