Special Little 12.2hh Dartmoor Pony in Minehead

Willow is a real poppet, 12.2hh 5 years old, she has a fantastic nature and is very laid back and uncomplicated. Still green as only recently broken to ride, but is coming on really well, riding nicely on the flat, in an outline in walk trot and canter, offering a comfortable ride and is a snaffle mouth with good breaks. Willow is currently being ridden on the lead rein by a 3 year old girl, she is a steady, calm and straight forward ride without being 'lazy'. She is very good to hack alone and in company, and although she is still learning she has been a good with all types of farm animals, machinery and vehicles etc.. that she has met. Willow has masses of potential and would make an ideal PC pony, as she has a scopey, honest jump, and with a little bit more experience she would make a nice, kind, genuine, all-rounder. Willow is eager to please and happy to turn her hoof to anything. No vices, never sick or sorry, wormed, feet up to date, passport and micro chipped and is a great doer. Elsie is a 6 year old mare standing at 12.2hh and is the perfect pony for a family to enjoy. She is ridden by small children at the moment but has a lot more potential, however not to be ridden by adults. She is a fun, affectionate and loving pony, comes to you from the field, easy to box, handle and good with the farrier to trim as she has no shoes. She has had a foal however is now in need of a new home where she is working more, as she is a great lead rein or first pony. 13hh Dartmoor pony in Northampton

I am looking for a home for our 13hh 16yo Dartmoor pony, ideally I'd like him to go as a companion only altho he can be ridden but is NOT by any means a child's pony at all! He's very sensitive to balance and is strong. One of my friends has ridden him on the odd occasions but she is a small adult and a very quiet rider and she has had no problems with him at all. He's good to catch, handled by children good to groom with farrier stables or lives out happily on own or with company, doesn't mind being left on own while u go for a ride. He has the most loving nature loves a fuss and kisses and cuddles. Lives on fresh air never had laminitis. He's not getting any attention with us due to my other 2 and a 10 month old baby. Aurora is a lovely pony who has been a member of our family for around 7 years. She was ridden quite a lot by my children approximately 3-4 years ago but not since then. I would say it would be best to train her from the beginning. She is very sweet and puppy like. Likes to follow you around. She is easy to catch and halter - usually extremely tranquil. I have laid down and sunbathed with her - leaning on her and then picked out her feet whilst she continues to enjoy the sunbathe and star treatment! As we will be leaving our smallholding there will be no where for her to live. This is a very regrettable sale, of a lovely pony who has been like a member of our family. A very good home is required. My barefoot farrier considers her to be the perfect pony for say a confident 12 year old wanting the priceless experience of training a pony - as I did as a child.

Beautiful, adorable pony, 6 year old,13.1hh Dun Dartmoor, very good to catch, box, trim etc. Currently being ridden by my 9 yr old daughter, been jumping 2'6" but due to work commitments she's not being ridden as much as we'd like. Never hurt anyone but she can be stubborn and very strong to ride so not suitable for a child's first pony or anyone with little confidence. She will do occasional small rears with anyone that's not confident on her but stops once she realises it doesn't get her anywhere... Typical mare, just needs bringing on with the right rider.

12'2 black Dartmoor pony gelding. Freddie a lovely little pony, he is always first over in the field to greet you he loves a fuss and carrots! He currently lives out with mares and geldings but could also live in. He is very easy to do (load, trim, brush, pick feet out etc), not rugged and is barefoot, laid back manner. Never kicked, bucked or bitten (but can become nippy when given too many treats!) I have sat on Freddie numerous times, in the yard, field and around the lanes but am far to big to expect him to do anything, friends have ridden him around the lanes and he was very good however has a tendency to pick from the hedge! Freddie has been ridden by small children and adults although they have now lost interest and he is left without a rider. He goes on regular walks around the lanes, meeting cars, bikes, tractors etc but nothing seems to faze him. I feel Freddie would make a great childs/small adults pony for someone. Please take note that he will need extra work off the lead rein to stop the hedge snacking. I am looking for around £450 open to offers as home more important than price. Its important I find him a home where he gets the love and attention he needs. Will come with saddle and bridle.
