Spear & Jackson Petrol Hedge Trimmer (SHT26K) - little used

We bought this a few years ago as a petrol powered backup as my partner is a gardener. She would usually use an electric on customers gardens but wanted a backup if her customer was to be out and therefore did not have access to power. However, this happened so rarely that it would simple be carried around with her and get in the way, so the decision was made not to both taking it. So it went into store. She may have been finding it harder to start on occasions, time blurs the memory. Anyway, thought I would get it out to sell by showing a video of it running. However, it refused to start. The fuel mix was her old batch having said that. Before blaming the fuel I thought I would clean the plug and check the spark. I can't seem to get a spark, though I did get a mild shock at one point. I bypassed the cutout switch on the handle as this seemed the most likely cause, but no change. So, it is offered here as a not working but very little used item that would probably be fairly easy to fix is you have swap out coil or the like. Carburetor will have very little wear. It is the original spark plug from when new. Come take a look, asking £38 ovno and I will seriously consider. Collection is from Stechford or Handsworth Wood, Birmingham
