Mackie SWA Subwoofer Bass Bin Speaker Sub Active RCF For sale, a great sub, nice deep bass. Has signs of use, general scratches etc. Also has a a crack in one of fins. Is not very noticeable when using at a gig as it just blends in. Doesn't affect sound quality at all! This is a passive conversion, it was active until the amp stopped working. I still have the amplifier, it was taken to JPF amplification in london who repaired as much as he could, but still needs a new optocoupler. They are available online, but mainly from china. neither the shop or i am prepared to buy electronics from china nor have the effort to fix it. hence im selling it. i have still been using it for a few bigger gigs since it broke - It now just uses an external amplifier. A suitable amp would be an 8 ohm at 500w rms. But ive been using a 250w bass amp and was reaching super loud bass at around 3/10 to 4/10 on the amp. I can test on collection to show that the driver is still fully working. Have attached a few pictures of me using it. It looks great, it sounds great, it is great! Am happy to take offers. These Mackie active PA speakers have been used for 6 gigs and they haven't been 'thrashed'. They have been stored in their Mackie bags and are in very good condition. They come with mains leads and 30ft signal leads. Just plug into your mixer and you're up and running. Each speaker is rated at 400 watts and contains 2 separate amplifiers, 1 at 150 watts for the high end and 1 at 250 watts for the low end.
