This is an electric Sparta, Sparta is a Top brand from Holland (google it) These are really nice bikes and this one is no exception. It has electric assistance, so you still need to pedal, but it will help you. So it will always feel like you are going down hill.. The RRP for this bike new was more that Euro's so these are expansive bikes! This is a beautiful bike and you can still ride it by pedaling, there is no electric assistance. I have been collecting classic Dutch bikes for years. Much as I love this one with its shopping basket, it's time to reduce the size of my Dutch bike collection as no room left in my shed! This one I've recently refurbished and serviced. I've treated some surface rust and It's had some new spokes. I've also bought a huge and comfy brand new seat on it. It comes with a gorgeous large wicker basket which attaches and removes by way of leather straps with buckles. It's an old bike with a lovely patina on it so if you want brand new, this is not for you. But it's a joy to ride with its upright seating position and always attracts admiring looks. This is a Juicy Heath Classic Electric Bike, purchased new in July at a cost of £, (Proof of Purchase available) having paid £100 for a upgraded battery providing 30 miles cover. Additional extras purchased and included in the selling price was a set of Panniers with waterproof Cover (£60) also a Bike Hut D Lock Silver Sold Secure approval. (Can be viewed oh Halfords website). You can have my Helmet if it fits. Lights are fitted as standard and I have 2 Handlebar Mirrors. The bike was purchased with all good intentions but for various reasons has received little use; I would say around 70 miles. In October I had it serviced by the sellers and since then have used it once. There is a very comfortable Gel seat cover fitted. Like the lock it comes with 2 sets of Keys and charging system. It is a step through frame, I am and my Wife is 505 tall and both of us could ride it. The only marks as best as I can say are where the Battery fits on the frame.
