The farmers, after the conquest of their capitals, changed toguerrilla tactics, after which the British answered with the tactics of scorched earth, causing many civilian casualties on the side of the Farmers.The war resulted in a Pyrrhic victory for the United Kingdom and ushered in the end of the independent Boer Republics.Flags and other signs show which areas are occupied, where and on what dates the fighting has taken place.A nice piece of war history.Apart from a very small tear (bottom center), the map is in remarkably good condition after 116 years.Dimensions: 100 cm wide and 125 cm high.Will be carefully packaged, and shipped by registered and insured mail (with Track & Trace number).
