It has in built connectivity for loop-through video, timecode generation, audio in and out and more. Recording to a solid state or compact flash card for quick offloads on set. It’s attractive display provides immediate confirmation of recording, playback, audio metering, and Setup Menu selections. Monitor brightness, contrast and chroma adjustments are available for customised viewing needs. The PIX 240 adds Quicktime recording using Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD to any HDMI or HD-SDI equipped high-definition video camera. The portable PIX 240i records Quicktime files to CompactFlash cards or removable 2.5-inch solid-state hard drives. A 256GB drive comes with the hire kit too! Apple ProRes and Avid DNxHD video formats have emerged as industry standards. These I-frame codecs offer the best in picture quality, processing efficiency, and data storage requirements. Philips Vintage D Radio/recorder/playback sound machine.

Rare Philips D soundmachine boom box. Radio cassette tape and various inputs on rear of unit. Radio: Long wave, Short wave, FM. Inputs for record deck/Aux on rear also connection for external aerial if required although unit has it's own aerial. Can be used on mains ( volts) or batteries. (not supplied). Mains lead for UK mains. Detachable speakers and shockingly loud! Bought in the 80's and only one owner. This is a museum piece as can be found on the internet at the Radiomuseum. More details of specifications can be found there. Considering it's age and use it is in fairly good condition. Few cosmetic marks due to age. I have used this with a hifi record deck and the sound is excellent. Various tone/volume/input slider controls. Microphone inputs, headphone out. Still in good working order. Size: 85cm long (with speakers attached), 29cm high,16.3cm deep.(Approx) (I do have a copy (pdf) of service manual if required.
