There is an ON/OFF switch at one end of the lamp shade and the Dimmer control at the other end. The light is ready to use, it comes with a 2 metre (approx) length of flexible cable which is fitted with a 13 amp plug, (with the correct size fuse) and it is ready to plug in and use. Using of this type of light fitting is a really simple way to increase and improve light levels, especially in a low ceiling area and gives you total flexibility, because you can move the light fitting around until you have found the best position that suits your needs and this is without having to involve any 'tradesmen' or to have to undertake major building work and alterations to install additional lighting.
